EA - Please update rosters... for real.

There needs to be a huge roster overhaul in terms of players' attributes. These attributes still seem to mostly reflect the players in the 08/09 season rather than the 09/10 season.

As a Blackhawks fan, I'm sick of seeing my boys' attributes so low. EVERY player has improved TREMENDOUSLY since last season.

I mean c'mon, Duncan Keith an 82? Seabrook an 84? We're talking one of the, if not the best D pairing in the league.

Do you think maybe as a Blackhawks fan, you should pass on talking about your own team? If you want to talk about other teams, fine, but when people make blanket statements about how EVERYONE on their favorite team should have a higher rating, well, your credibility sort of goes out the window.

With that said, they do need to update attributes for the next roster update.

I'm not saying ONLY the Hawks need an update, nor am I saying they should be the best team.

I am using the Blackhawks as an example simply because I know this team the best (I watch every game). They are tied for first and easily have the most depth out of any team. Not EVERY player needs an upgrade... but c'mon, if you watch the Hawks play, you'll see that even the 4th line regularly dominates.

As for the Pens... well I'm sure the team could use some attribute updates, but just because you win the cup doesn't mean your D-men should all be 90's. There aren't many 90+ d-men in the game... infact the only ones I can name off the top of my head are Lidstrom and Chara.

All I am really saying is an attribute update would be nice. Not trying to say who should be the best or worst, nor am I saying every Chicago player should be 90+ (the only 90 I'd give out would be to either Hossa or Keith).

I really don't understand why you are arguing with me, as I didn't present an argument to begin with. The fact of the matter is many of the attributes aren't as accurate as they could be. These ratings are still based off last season's play, considering the attributes are nearly identical to NHL09's.

And you're right, just because the Hawks are in first doesn't mean our d-men should automatically be upgraded. They should be upgraded because they are more skilled than the game gives them credit for. And, since this game does not take into account line chemistry, every player must be looked at individually rather than as part of a line.

Would you not be disgruntled if EA gave Crosby an 82 rating? Or Malkin? Yes, you would be. Because both Crosby and Malkin deserve better than an 82 (obviously), likewise some of the Hawk's players deserve better then what they have too, as well as other teams' players.

In conclusion: please update attributes.
