    The Book of Eli

I saw it today and enjoyed it. Denzel as usual was excellent. The only part I didn't like and didn't make sense at all was.....

    Spoiler
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

      Seeing it tomorrow.

Denzel, Gary Oldman and the ridiculously hot Mila Kunis? Count me in.

I watched this tonight. It was pretty decent.

A bit stupid, and very preachy, but the cast was fantastic.

        I think it's worth seeing.

The attention to detail in this movie is excellent, while the subject is a bit propagandistic the execution is flawless.

It's got a really nice style and a pretty amazing setting. I'm actually really surprised it has below 50% on Rotten Tomatoes.

it started off in the teens and has been climbing up though.

Amazing that the guys who did Menace To Society also directed this movie.

The Hughes Brothers directed this? It should be tight. I was more surprised when they directed the movie with Johnny depp in it. I forgot the name of the movie but it was supposed to be about Jack The Ripper and that movie sucked. I liked Menace II Society and Dead Presidents. Hughes Brothers are underated but IMO they are sick.

I didn't even know that until the credits rolled. It flashed "Hughes Brothers" up there and I was pretty surprised.

Saw this tonight - really liked it. I thought the cast was good and that the sum of the parts was great, but I didn't think no one actor really shined - if that makes any sense. I enjoyed the twist at the end, but probably could have done without Mila's part at the end - or at least handled a different way.

Great movie imo. Apparently some scenes offended some people. Someone sitting next to me hastily left and then her boyfriend went after her during the scene where the biker gang attacks the female and shoots the man. Loved the twists in the movie.

I saw this and really liked it. Probably the quickest 2 hours of my life. Very fast paced in my opinion. I suggest trying not to go to the bathroom during the movie as you'll probably miss something. Things are just thrown at you especially towards the end. I don't think there has ever been a movie where I could pretty much remember every scene till I saw this.

I'd pretty much agree with this comment.

I rarely see movies in the theaters (Star Trek was the last one I saw), but I went and saw this last night and thought it was a pretty fascinating movie. Lot of different things you can get out of it too.

                              And Mila Kunis is awesome.
