I've noticed that when players transfer they apparently are immediately eligible to play. So, far in the 2nd season of my Syracuse Dynasty I've faced South Carolina with Chandler Parsons(Florida this season), and Wisconsin with Matt Vogrich(Michigan). Mookie Jones left my team(really pissed you cant talk guys into staying like football since I was planning on starting him and he plays 12.5 minutes off the bench for them) for Seton Hall so it looks like they only transfer in conference also.

if you save enough recruitin points you can try and talk them into stayin, the amount of points you need is the same as if you were pitchin a recruit (i think). i never tryed to talk with them...its a computer but if they wanna go...go, you dont wanna be here? computer guy or not, see ya! -

qpc123, I've noticed the same thing as you. I'm not 100% sure they only transfer within conference, but I have the problem with them being able to play right away. For example, Quincy Acy, PF for Baylor transfered to Nebraska??? and was able to play without sitting out a year in my CalPoly Dynasty.
P.S. Ya, if you save some recruiting points you can try and talk them into staying.Comment

It was 2:00 in the morning when I hit offseason last night and I went thru it but didn't see a screen that said who transferred where. I saw my player's leaving page and the guys graduating and the one kid that transferred. Was there another screen somewhere that said where he went or will I just see him randomly show up in a conference game?Comment

I just happened to check Baylor's roster to see what recruits they got. Noticed Quincy Acy wasn't on the team anymore...was like huh???? Later in the year I checked the Big XII player of the year nominations and he was listed as #9, playing for the Cornhuskers.
So in other words, there's no screen.Comment
