hey, I am going to start a new league for 2k8 and it will be only with created NFL teams and so if any one is interested in joining then leave a measage here on this thread stating your team and gamer tag so i can tally the teams ... i will be the Chicago Bears ( GRIZZLIES ) and so any one that wants to join can it will be called OSNFL2K8 and the pass word will be OSNFL2K8

once all the teams are taken up or the wait is to long then i will start,

couple of rules though .... please do not be cheap this will be a Sim based league and if i find out that you will have one more chance but i want this to be a fun Sim based online NFL league , season ....

only do onside kicks in 2 min left in 4th Q and if you are down by 21 points that is the only way .... it will be on all pro and on 10 Min and if you guys want a shorter time than i will be changing it to 7 Min .... and no out routes on every play ... i use Hester and he can barley do the catch but i don't want to see people being really cheap ....

so if you want to join an NFL like league .... post a message stating your team and then i will tally the team thanks!

i think i will have to move this thread and i will soon but i gotta go to school right now so i will try to do that later ... i also took down the teams and tallied them so now i can send you guys friend requests


i took the teams off the list to so cool ! 3 more out of no where is great!

As someone who ran a 32 person league when the league websites were available, I suggest you start with a smaller league and grow it over each season. If you wait for 32 players to start, you'll be waiting forever.

When will you be attempting to play the games,(evenings, weekends etc). What are the prerequisites for the team builds? Will you be checking them out for authenticity. I was wondering because I have played some teams that were just full of crazy creations. Thanks for all the answers.

Good question, i will be checking the teams to make sure that they do not make a team that has player that are all 6-7 and stuff so i will be checking ... please make this a close to the NFL team as possible so thats that and also the question above him i would say that i might delete this franchise and make it after we have more poeple in this thread and then start but i have a friend that is going to play as the Patriots and so i will probably delete the season and then start a new one ... thanks!


also if you want to join than you can be the Cowboys and the other dude if you want to join you are welcome to join but please make sure that it is only the NFL team thanks if you can join!

for the time of the games for each week i will be asking all the members when you guys can play a game so i would probably say maybe 3-30 pm pacific time?

I am interested in joining I still have to check some of my teams out. What game speed do you play on? I also have some teams where I created 10 players and used the last bronze player as the kicker. ex Raiders, Titans, Colts all have very strong accurate kickers should I not create them as one of my 11 players? I have seen some created kickers gold,silver win games for people on line.Or should we exclude them from the roster completely and create the best 11 players for any particular team period. (ex. O-line,D-line,safety,0 recievers,2backs etc.) Just some questions. I do want to get in and my builds should be fine but I just had some questions because I want to enjoy this league. Thanks for starting this up.
