Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 New Screenshots (1-25-10)
The worst part about the camera last year was that you couldn't save it. I could tweak it to exactly what I wanted, but had to do so every time I turned on the system to play a game.Comment

I wish season batting stats were always in the HUD. Not situational stats. In 2K9 you had to pause the game and go through a maze of menus to find out how many RBIs your guy had for that year.Comment

What is it supposed to look like, a Ford F-150?
I'm very pleased with what I see, especially that pic at the plate. I think this game is going to be very fun.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Compared to what Yankee Stadium look like in 2k9, this year looks 10x better. Hopefully Chase can elaborate on the Batting/Pitching Cameras in his preview. Though it's been pointed-out that 2k9 had an option to change the Batting/Pitching Camera angles we can't go by that since we've had features in then taken-out the following year..

bigfnjoe96 I think you made 2k10 look worse comparatively speaking. Even though stadium colors are closer to their real life counterparts it just proves more they took away a lot of the texturing of the construction elements that make up the stadium and even the grass.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 New Screenshots (1-25-10)
I'd like to know this as well. MLB 2K9 ran at 60fps most of the time last year, and the only place I've read 2K10 is 30fps is in Chase's impressions. Every other preview did not mention framerate (only to say it was smooth).
I like the look of the screens, don't get me wrong. But the game should look better than this if it's only running at 30fps.
Oh, and Yankee Stadium does look much better. The amount of improvements are both impressive and give hope to the rest of the 2K10 experience.Comment

The IGN preview mentione it was 60fps with some drop to 30fps during flyballs.I'd like to know this as well. Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 New Screenshots (1-25-10)
There are absolutely zero things in 2K9's Yankee Stadium that look better than 2K10's Yankee Stadium, and I'm talking about the stadium only, not the fans. As for the fans, I think that when you get close up to them the game will make them more high-res, and if not I guess it's just to help out the framerate because of the camera view they went for. Either way, they changed the colors to more white shirts and team colors, so I like that.bigfnjoe96 I think you made 2k10 look worse comparatively speaking. Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 New Screenshots (1-25-10)
I think the Camera Angle & Lighting is what's causing the difference. It also looks like they are again using a different color palette, which drives me crazy, because they seem to do this( change Color Palette) every year.bigfnjoe96 I think you made 2k10 look worse comparatively speaking. For me it's more about what system I like to game-on. I exclusively game on my 360, hence why I chose to play 2k baseball more than The Show.Last edited by bigfnjoe96; 01-26-2010, 10:51 AM.Comment

Ah, I missed it.
There's still a chance the game will run at a steady 60fps. Last year at this time, SimBaller popped in to tell us optimization is the last thing to happen during a game's development.Comment
