Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)

I know it's not on this list but I would like to see them add some all star games. Back in the day on PS1 the NCAA series had the East West Shrine game in dynasty mode. Heck even the old 2k college football games had like 5 different all star games.

Do you guys think its a possibility that they made the list of all these things keeping in mind that they will include all of them to a certain extent, but are trying to garner feedback from the community to see which one that they need to spend the MOST time on? Just a thought. I have a good feeling about NCAA this year. I think they are on the brink of something great if they can just include the presentation from Madden and just slow down the gameplay and fix the physics of the players. I am sure a pro-tak system would greatly help.

          In no particular order:

          1. Authentic team entrances (Miami's smoke, Bucks having to wait for the opposing team to exit b4 they exit at the half, Michigan's GO BLUE banner)

          2. Coaching Carousel where more prestigious schools can snatch up good coaches but the Mid Tenn States can't keep a good one to save their lives

          3. No-Huddle gameplay (it seems like if you run no-huddle, you can only call 3 lame-@$$ audibles)

This "locomotion" bit, wouldn't that involve an entirely NEW GAME, that we probably wouldn't see for 2 years? By the time we get all the things we should have had 3 years ago, I'll be married with 2 kids and a mortgage. Shoot me.

I hope your feeling is right I wanna love this game. But there isnt anything this dev. team has done this gen to make me believe. What that said I felt the same exact way about NBA Live until they stepped up so it is very do-able.

like i have said before i think the presentation that was in madden 10 was already installed in 11 before madden shipped. i think the madden crew wanted it to be seen first for their game, but it will def be in ncaa if they slow the game down and have good play for the option and catching animation it will be good, plus take the extra step with teambuilder

I agree, I think they have heard enough from the public, and I am sure they don't want to put out a game that novody is happy with, surely to God they have pride in what they are doing.

You know 11 is going to be a damn good game but their will be those people who will be mad because some teams shoelaces are black instead of white! lol!we got a good game coming, I actually have enjoyed 10, just please EA, SLOW THE DAMN GAME DOWN! OR GIVE US THAT OPTION, ALSO THE SPEED OF THE BALL WHEN THROWN, SLOW WAY DOWN, KILLING MY WR'S!

Three non-gameplay things I'd like to see that I've wanted for over 10 years is:

                  1. 85 scholarships. Why recruit 25 guys and then have to cut 11 players from your team?

                  2. Give us the option to pick which hash you want to run a 2-pt conversion from.

                  3. no requirements for minimum players. For example, GT, Navy, and Army don't use TE's in their offense (or traditional "fullbacks"). Why am I being forced to "waste" 2 slots on a TE?

Ok im a pretty skilled player on ncaa football 10 and when im playing defense and i play the cpu on Heisman level, they make these quick throws that are not in any way visible. They can see all around the field..but i cant? wow. Also wheres all the D2 teams?? i have a dream to become a college quarterback and ea cant even put the schools i want to attend in there game? Another thing, the gameplay needs to be much faster and all guys dont run the same...make different styles of running. The passing game is great. Make wide recievers actally jump.

way more than three should be included in 2011
I like all of these with some additions.

                      1. Realistic gameplay with smarter AI. Like dbling up on hot recievers, or putting best DB on him.

                      2. Crowd celebrations and cutscenes with signs like NCAA Football 05.

                      3. Time of day changes( Morning turns into afternoon, afternoon changes to night) during games.

                      4. Bring back user-controlled celebrations. On ps2 and xbox. we could choose out of to types of celebrations by holding L2(Mild Celebration) or R2(Extreme Celebration) with corresponding buttons. Square was player celebration. Triangle was Mascot celebration, and Circle was for Fan celebration. Also if u used the extreme celebration. It would sometimes get u a unsportsman like flag. I loved that and would love to see it agn.

                      5. I would like for certain stadiums to be louder than the other agn like NCAA 05. U could push a button to pump the crowd up to get very loud where it would sometimes cause other team confusion. Bigger the population. Louder the crowd! Also Bowl games need to sound like bowl games. They need to be louder.

                      6. I would also like the game to be faster, and the animations to be changes. They run like they are jogging, and other movements look robotic. this goes for Madden also.

                      7. Also with uniforms. I remember when u were in a bowl game. U would wear the patch of that bowl game on ur uniform. Havent played this years NCAA, but if it isnt in the game. that would be a nice idea.

                      8. Back to presentaion. I would like to see end game celebrations like we had in the past. Like gatorade on coach when u won a come back or close game. Carrying the coach on shoulders while he holds bowl trophy after uve won. Also i used to like the sports illustrated pics of my team and players in dynasty mode on last gen systems.

                      9. Player discipline. I would like to see that back on the game.

                      10. Lasty. What happened to teams like Towson University and Morgan State. Why have they been taken out of Next Gen?

I know that was alot, but they were the things that made NCAA Better than Madden back then. Now its to much like Madden so i dont need to get it now. Tho i think Madden has a gang of flaws also. Thats a whole nother story and Game.

In my opinion, the locomotion/AI shouldn't be on the list. That should be automatically upgraded. Shouldn't have to ask about that one.

VERY true. So with that as an automatic one my three are
                          1. ESPN style presentation. HUGE
                          2. Coaching Carousel. Great to see Kelly at Cincy to start off and then at Notre Dame expressed in a video game.
                          3. Equipment/Having the players look at the sidelines for an up-tempo style offense.

We need GAMEPLAY and we need it BADLY! The running at 90 degree angles has got to stop. Momentum and locomotion MUST be numer uno for NCAA 11.

I really enjoyed Madden even though it had it's flaws. The gameplay was night and day better in-game compared to NCAA, it just was.

Everytime I see Momentum and Locomotion on this list I shake my head. This should be non-negotiable. There is no way NCAA 11 should ship without it period.

If the future is any indication of the past I think NCAA will be Madden 10 with college teams..I can deal with that but the presentation must be improved...I agree with alot of these posters when they say that some of the things on the list should be an automatic..
