Re: The Brett Favre Saga
They have FA today? How many run to the rivals?I see a guy that loves the game for what ever reason and took my team to the NFC Championship game and played his *** off this season. So hell yeah I love Brett. Also I know how hard it is too win it all, so I am delusional there. All I want from my team is to win the Division and win a playoff game and try to go farther each year. That is all I want. Yes Brett threw the INT that was big, but he did a lot of great things in that game too. You guys think that one play loses football they don't. It take a whole game to win or lose. He did more good then he did bad in that game. I just see it different than you guys, but that is OK too. I see Fran who is idiot for running his mouth all the time. I bet you if they had Free agency back in his time. I'm sure players would be playing for their one time rivals.Comment

Re: The Brett Favre Saga
I have seen a quite a few players. The problem is Brett played for the Packers so long. If you look at players now a days a lot of them are not on their team that long anymore. I think Moss had a strong impact on vikings fans. And I would say more than 80% were pissed when Moss got traded. Sharpe came to Minnesota and he had a good couple years here too.Comment

Don't forget Longwell too. Those were just shrugged off, they didn't have an impact Favre did.I have seen a quite a few players. The problem is Brett played for the Packers so long. Re: The Brett Favre Saga
Well a course not. But that is still going to a rival. The bottom line is Brett was a God there, so when your God left it hurt real bad. I feel really sorry for you guys because of that. It sucks to no ends! But as a fan of a team. I realize players come and go even the great ones. I was a huge Nolan fan for the Sharks. And when he left I was hurt bad, but then we got Joe T and now I am happy again. When Moss left I was hurt real bad, then when got AD. When Clark left the Giants I was crushed, but then we got Bonds. When Kent went to the Dodgers I was OK with it. Sure it sucked, but it is a business.

Not many people felt bad about the loss of Longwell or Sharper , no matter if it's a rival or not. It doesn't even compare to Favre leaving.Well a course not. But that is still going to a rival. Oh, my, I thought you were ok when Moss left based on your previous post. Which is it?
Do you really think Manning will leave the Colts one day and go to the Ravens at the end of his career and stick it to the Colts?
You can keep trying to say it's a business in all of your post for all I care, but it won't change my mind one bit.
Please tell us, endure us with something new besides reaching for Bruce to the 49ers and your business angle.Comment

You're kidding me right? When Sharper when to the Vikes, I knew our defense just got alot worse and the Vikes defense got alot better. Geez, I was right too!! Well, up until the past few years. Not many people felt bad about the loss of Longwell or Sharper , no matter if it's a rival or not. It doesn't even compare to Favre leaving.

Re: The Brett Favre Saga
Road I was hurt when Moss went, not because he left, but because we traded him, but if he went to Greenbay I would have no problem with him doing that because the Vikings traded him. Just like the Packers traded Brett. I am not trying to get you to change what you feel and believe. I am just sharing why it is not a big deal to me. I am not debating with you about Brett. You have every right to be mad and hurt that is a Vikings, but me I don't feel that way. Because I know it is a business first. That is why I realize players will come and go. My brother said Free Agency will hurt fans more and I think he was right. Player like Brett, Manning and some others are the very few that played for one team for so long.Comment

I'm sure you are aware that I had no issues when the Packers traded Favre to the Jets. He was becoming a cancer and it was Rodgers time. I think you know the issue is when Brett finagled a comeback with the Vikings.Road I was hurt when Moss went, not because he left, but because we traded him, but if he went to Greenbay I would have no problem with him doing that because the Vikings traded him. I could name a ton of players who have been loyal to their teams, but in a few cases, like Favre, loyalty isn't a two way street anymore.
Do me a favor and enjoy the offseason drama. It will take you for a roller coaster ride.Comment
