Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
EG;
If you took that as a call out and not just goofing around....you yourself might need some time away from O.S.
Sorry you took it the wrong way...but it was nothing except some friendly ribbing(I know we're not "friends"...but you know what I mean).

Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
I loved 2k7 even with all his faults, I will say this game has me pumped too. I love the Stadiums. So I sure I will have a good time with this game too. The franchise looks deep and I hoping the Graphics and animation are up to my level. If they are I will be very happy. I am graphic whore first.

Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
Haven't read through the previous 7 pages...
...this is definitely a wise marketing technique at first glance, but thinking as though someone will have it accomplished in the first 5 hours of release is definitely a possibility.
People are just going to play, start, restart, and play again until it is accomplished...kudos to the gamer that pulls it off.Currently playing on PS5 & XBOX SERIES X:
- EA Sports College Football 25 - PS5
- MLB The Show 24 - PS5
- The Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM - XBOX SERIES X

Saw this on the front page of yahoo the other day. That alone probably gave this game more exposure than anything else.Comment

Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
i bet the contest will have a code that tells 2k who the first person to accomplish this is .. I would put money on the contest having a legal loop hole that states some where that you have to be the "first" person ever in 2k10 to throw a perfect game and also "have video proof" at the same time .. the odds of both happening at once is vegas house odds .. not happeningComment

So does it have to be a complete game by one pitcher, or can it be a combined effort using your relievers also?Comment

Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
I just read the official rules and it looks like you can't make a mound visit during the game and can't stop playing for 60 seconds or longer.

Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
Damn, these rules don't really allow for us to record on through and quit/restart or anything like that. We'll have to turn our TV off and everything.

Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
It states that you must start your recording at least 5 seconds prior to turning on your tv and console. Guess this means i can't use my capture device and will instead have to put my camcorder on a tripod or something? Also that is going to suck powering down your system and TV between each attempt. They are going to disqualify the majority of attempts merely on technicalities of their video set up, etc.Comment

Exactly, how many people would you guess that end up trying this contest actually read the official rules beforehand? Less than 10%, certainly. It states that you must start your recording at least 5 seconds prior to turning on your tv and console. Re: Win a Million Dollars, Playing Major League Baseball 2K10
How bad is going to suck for the person that accomplishes it and starts recording right at the start of the game and not 5 seconds before the TV turns on?Comment
