Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

Glad to see the apology Knight. I'm one of the ones who thought the fact sheet was misleading, and to be called a whiny B for saying that isn't right. Nice to see you realized that came off unnecessarily harsh
I completely disagree with anyone calling Russell a talking head though. I really appreciate the information he and the other developers give us, and I love seeing the input OS gives taken seriously. I think fortyfive went overboard on his statements, but there are times when any type of criticism about The Show is jumped on by other members. I feel like I should be able to disagree without being jumped on as long as I stay respectful, and I haven't felt that in this thread. Several people have stated that they felt the fact sheet was misleading, so I think it's important for SCEA to hear that, if for no other reason than so they are aware and can make sure the confusion doesn't happen next year as well.

With regards to the downloading, if you have ever played Rock Band and Rock Band 2, you'll know that when you export the Rock Band 1 songs to the Rock Band 2 game, you just download a tiny program from the PSN which extracts the songs from the Rock Band 1 disc and installs them into the install file for Rock Band 2. For this game, I am just guessing that when you install the game, then go and use your code, it will download a similar small-sized program which will unlock the stadiums from the disc and save them to the install file. No need to ever be connected to the internet after that in order to use the stadiums.
One thing I do want to comment on, only because it makes me feel old, are the comments about how people hate games where things are locked and you have to actually play to game to unlock them. Kind of makes me cry realizing that people today have become buy and return gamers. Buy the game, beat it as fast as you can, then trade it in to get another game. Back when I first got into gaming, spending time to play the game, enjoy it, unlock things, enjoy those, and explore every last bit of that game was the fun of it. It was the days before the internet where the only information you got about a game was a few brief words about it in GamePro, or EGM, or Nintendo Power. Nowadays, before the game even comes out, there are full walkthroughs all over the internet with all secrets unlocked. I actually enjoy it when developers lock things in the game and force you to actually play it in order for you to unlock them. It gives me motivation to play the game and keep playing it for a long time.
I am going to pre-order The Show anyway, but I might go and try to get the the stadiums unlocked by getting all the trophies first. I guess the only trophies I don't really like in the games are the online ones that force you to play online. I don't like playing online since the vast, vast majority of online gamers are horrifically immature and just grate my nerves. I know that a lot of the people here don't fit that category, but you guys are the minority out there.

I'll co-sign this. I believe I remained respectful while trying to express my opinion.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet but The Show is now on Amazon for 56.99 with FREE RELEASE DAY SHIPPING for Prime members at least. In for one!
Yep I just did the same. I signed up for a free trial of Amazon Prime a few days ago so I could get my books for college in quicker, and was looking for a way to get the most out of the trial. Debating whether or not to pre-order the show and get the stadiums or get the game earlier at my spot and miss out. The prime membership plus $5 off on amazon pushed me to make that choice.

Just pre-ordered online from Bestbuy. Didn't see anything about a code to unlock the classic stadiums. Anyone who pre-ordered from Bestbuy found out for sure how they will handle the codes?

To anyone who has pre-ordered at a Gamestop store (not Online), did you get the code already or will it come inside the game's box like with most of the games that have pre-order bonuses.

They said it would work like ME2. If you pre-ordered, you'll get a card with the code on it when you pick up your copy. That's what my store's guy told me anyway.
