NFL 2K13 A Possibility?
I haven't heard anything on this, so take it with a grain of salt. It's probably as reliable as the guy who reported that 2K was working with EA on the next Madden...

A cow has a better chance of jumping over a moon then EA giving the rights to NFL license and the NFL going with 2KComment

Re: NFL 2K13 A Possibility?
Quite frankly, a new 2K NFL-game is too far down the pipe to care at this time.
And with EA, it's a safe bet that their sales team will strike a re-up deal
sometime in 2011/12 to extend the contract even further to 2015/16.
And companies wonder why they're paying AMG car lease money for
their Xerox photocopiers? Until a game is confirmed in development
from 2K, the football series via NFL license is over.Comment

Re: NFL 2K13 A Possibility?
That's how I feel at this point. I want it, but I'm not going to be searching the internet top to bottom to get some kind of lead.
But I do appreciate when we have respectable posters like Valdarez who do the dirty work to bring up a "Maybe NFL 2k1X" threads.
NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: NFL 2K13 A Possibility?
It was posted on the 2K Sports forum, so I didn't search far.
I used to be a die hard 2K Sports fan, but after the way they turned their back on the APF2K8 gamers, my love for the company has definitely dwindled. Not providing information on THEIR game for consumers who spent their hard earned $$$ on it and supported them was one thing, but turning off a fully functional web server and killing half of the leagues out there in the process crossed the line. I still love APF2K8, but I no longer view 2K Sports as a company in the same light.Comment

Re: NFL 2K13 A Possibility?
Do all of us Football Fans the favor Its been 5 year speaking now that 2k has released a NFL football game. Madden Sucks hands down and There are videos upon Videos upon videos to prove it. Im really getting tried of EA putting out bad games over and over and over They buy all the license for all these games and dont do anything with them Its sad how I would rather play a game of Madden 09 on the PS2 then Madden 2010 on the ps3. Please EA SPORTS fix your game products or had the liences over to a company that will do something with it. and thats EA SportsComment

Re: NFL 2K13 A Possibility?
I have no idea what EA pays for the exclusive rights but, it would seem to me that everyone wins with expanding the rights to two companies. If EA is paying $30 mil a year they could spend $20 mil and 2k pays $20 mil the NFL gets $40 mil for a $10 mil increase. We the gamers get a choice and the two companies save money on the rights which even with a decrease in sales could increase EA's profits on their game.Gaming hard since 1988
I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.Comment
