Gameplay wise yes. Graphics hell no! I really liked All Star baseball and they went nuts on the Stadiums. I remember reading an article about all many polygon they used for the stadium it was unreal and it had working scoreboards and out of town boards too. That goes a long way with me. This game reminds me of all that detail and them some.

Yes...that's updated I believe.
Before we went....there was no sign(The Show) in RF...it was just the flagpoles...they added that.
Also Pared mentioned to them about the rotating sign behind the plate.....(the size maybe?)...and I believe they were looking into that also.
They got the scoreboards in the OF in there too.

All Star Baseball was my favorite game on the PS2. I can't believe they had working out of town scoreboards on PS2! I also liked the future stadiums. It was a great game.Gameplay wise yes. That was one of the greatest features ever. Too bad games don't really do that now.Comment

It was about gameplay for that game. I am a graphic whore first, so I had a hard time getting into that game. But it did every thing gameplay right. Stealing bases and hitting. Top notch, but the once I believe the Show has past that game too. The Show is the love child of High Heat and All Star baseball!

Yep, and it just keeps getting better. I love that we can edit the colors. I am expected you have to have some very very very accurate rosters or I am going to be mad!!

I believe All Star Baseball had the K counter by the left field foul pole at old Busch Stadium. It also had working jumbotrons. The replay viewer on All Star Baseball sucked though.Last edited by jeffmanqb3; 02-01-2010, 11:46 PM.Comment
