Re: MLB '10: The Show OS Exclusive Screenshots (2-1-10)
So um, just a question:

Am I reading that the wall is only 328 feet away in right center field?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

No way that is correct no matter how high the wall is.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show OS Exclusive Screenshots (2-1-10)
What he said. There is absolutely no way that wall is any shallower than maybe 365 feet, and even that is pushing it.
It may just be the screenshot playing tricks on us, I'm not sure. I'm not saying this will be an issue when the game is released (and even if it says that, it won't measure out that way). I just wanted to point that out though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I was just about to post the same thing. It's got to be an error unless the stadium designers are going for Yankee Stadium 2.0Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show OS Exclusive Screenshots (2-1-10)
that's actually right field
Field dimensions
Left Field - 339 feet (103 m)
Left-Center - 377 feet (115 m)
Center Field - 404 feet (123 m)
Right-Center - 367 feet (112 m)
Right Field - 328 feet (100 m)

no, that's actually right-center field or the right field power alley as PLite mentioned above. we most likely shouldnt be able to see the number in right field from this camera angle. that 328 should, if anything be 367.Comment

I am still picking my jaw up off the ground from the Bonifacio and Adam Jones screenshots.

Even tho it was confirmed about the player models being the same, i'd could swear they look revised. must be the loose fit clothes or somethin'...not sure.

Re: MLB '10: The Show OS Exclusive Screenshots (2-1-10)
And Russell said we'll be getting more today!!! Wow...this is unreal. I am SO pumped to play with my Metsies in their new park. Obviously through no fault of SCEA (Mets were secretive about the final look of Citi Field), last year's version looked so bland. I waited all these years through video games to play at a new stadium while other teams were getting them left and right...and then..pfft.
But this year...oh boy! The only thing I'm (slightly) disappointed with is the LF wall does look a bit bare without ads and they didn't add the championship banners...just the retired nos.
But man oh man...it looks great!Comment

Hope springs eternal and like Tug said back in '73 (as a Met, I might add)..."Ya Gotta Believe!"
Seriously...if they are healthy and guys have normal years, they'll be a solid team. It's the off-field/front office nonsense that makes it seem so bad.Comment

You mean these...
...
(I'm a Met fan)
...and who knows about ads.....but I don't think anything else is going to be added.
Personally, I like the walls without the adds.
