Re: More Pasta Padre Pics
Obviously its a replay screen-shot. Meaning Castillo is now at the plate, and the person using the PS3 to make the screenshot, is viewing a replay. Last year was like this as well, when viewing a replay, the guy at the plate is on the scoreboard. Also I want to thank you for sharing these pics...Comment

Yes...I just had it happen in a Keith Hernandez homerun. The replay was the one from behind the batter and it showed Gary Carter on the board...just as Hernandez made it halfway to first.Obviously its a replay screen-shot. Re: More Pasta Padre Pics
Im no Yanks fan but that picture of Yankee Stadium is absolutely insane.
It looks like SCEA have really outdone themselves again this year.
Love the players on the bench stood up on the railings too.Last edited by PsychoBulk; 02-04-2010, 06:38 AM.Comment

Yankee, Kauffman, and Citi are different animals. They had nothing to go off of last year when they built the stadium and there were many errors and generalities in those three stadiums.Look at the post above yours. Elated at what they did with Yankee stadium. If a fan gets "slighted" in the development of the game, the devs are ignoring us, if they give us what they want, they're the tops, lol.
I can assure you they didn't go to all the trouble to ask us just to ignore us. Not fair to the devs, me thinks.
Ignoring major stadium changes at GABP, Progressive and various others is tantamount to EA leaving in old logos and uniforms in Madden. Yes, it's eye candy. And yes, I am thankful for SCA providing us realistic stadium dimensions unlike 2K. But SCEA has consistently paid attention to detail, except in many stadiums. Certainly not a deal breaker, but something I hope to bring their attention to the seasons pass.
I would be happy to go through each stadium and make a list of tweaks that need made. I spent four years making these changes to MVP 05 for the PC and have visited the majority of the ballparks in the game. I have the resources and time to do this if SCEA is willing to listen.Comment

Maybe if you brought it to our attention while we were at community day we could have had it addressed. We got 3 scoreboards corrected because people specifically asked for us to look at them.Yankee, Kauffman, and Citi are different animals. Re: More Pasta Padre Pics
The reason why it does not look like Gord Beckham is because... it is not Gord Beckham. If you look carefully, the player is standing between first and second. The player is actually Jayson Nix (# 5) the Wite Sox second baseman. It appears to me that way anyway.Comment

Re: More Pasta Padre Pics
All these changes were in the SCEA-created Stadium Feedback thread from last year. Maybe next year.
I sound like a Cubs fan.Comment

Re: More Pasta Padre Pics
Gordon Beckham is the White Sox second baseman. Mark Teahen is the 3rd baseman and Alexei Ramirez is the shortstop.
Beckham is 15 and in the picture you can see a very tiny bit of the 1 peeking through. I thought the same as you at first until I saw that.Comment

Re: More Pasta Padre Pics
The stadiums, from what I've seen so far, look amazing! But all probably have little things that are different.
As a Mets fan, I wish they had included the championship banners alongside the retired nos. And to be even more picky, the "Pepsi Sign" in RF (where they put "The Show)" is behind a flat, walkable area that includes food stands and such...while here it looks like they just added the sign above the upper deck.
But that's my point...these guys do some many great things for the game itself, little details will slip through the cracks every now and then...appreciate what we get, because it's certainly top-notch.Comment
