    MLB 2k10 Online League Question

Will you be able to do an online league with a few friends and have the rest of the teams be CPUs? Does anybody know this for sure? This is the only way I am buying the game

    I doubt it.

A friend can play as the other team in your franchise and you can control all thirty teams, so you can pretty much do what you're asking. You'll all have to share one franchise though.

No. There is not a mode like Madden or NCAA football where you can have half the league be computer owned.

How would this work? Only one player would be able to play his games agaisnt CPU correct? There is no way to send franchises back in forth between users is there?

He was talking about an offline franchise with a local friend, at least I think so.

You could have a 30 man league if it was local, you can do that in any game. How can you share it online with a buddy?

Also can you invite a friend to play the game on your team agaisnt the CPU? So then it would be like co-op on the same team in a dynasty. I don't know why they wont let us do this, that would be awesome to do a franchise with you and your buddy over xboxlive on the same team

I'm almost positive you can save the file to a usb stick and email it to a friend. I believe I've done that in the past. For instance, I play my game, save it to my ps3 harddrive, copy it to my memory stick, then email that file to a friend.

There's a preview of 2k10 out there that says a friend can hop into your franchise and play against you. I'm almost certain that this means an online friend. It wouldn't even be worth mentioning if it was just a local friend.

The person who starts the franchise will be able to play against the CPU, but the other friends will always have to play against the franchise starter. Or you can just sim the games that don't involve head to head match ups between you and your friends teams.

If they did it like NCAA you can, an online franchise would be great. THere is a central repository, you download the file and then play your game against the cpu, you then upload the results and it gets merged into the main franchise. When all teams have played against either their cpu opponents or human opp, then the commish forwards to the next week.

I wish it was in the game
