Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
I just played an Ultimate Team Game against the Rams. I wore my Cardinals jerseys, so I guess I was in a Rivalry game. I was losing by 11 heading into the 4th qtr. I kicked a FG to make the score 21-13 Rams.I stopped them on there drive. I got the ball back. I went for it on 4th down and incomplete pass. I stopped them again with 2 minutes remaining. I drive the field and score. I make the 2 pt. conv. Now, we're headed to overtime. They win the toss. I stop them. They stop me. I get them to 4th down, I think they are going to punt....but no,they try a 58 yrd. FG into the 1 MPH wind and hits it just inside the right upright! Come On! Does anyone else have any stories like this? I also saw some things I haven't seen yet, like Late Hits and QB sliding behind the scrimmage line instead of taking a sack.PS3, we had a good run! Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
You want frustrating?
How about when the CPU kicks a FG and it bounces off the upright BUT they give them the 3 points...I could not believe it...luckily it was mid-game and I still won but I was like "whhhhaaaatt???"Gamertag: xI Trooper

Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
Yeah...too bad I can't say the same for you hahaha
I know how to consistently block FG's actually...I remember I was in my Franchise against the Chargers and they were at the goalline ready to kick the game winning chip shot for the win in OT...
I blocked it and my safety picked it up and ran the length of the field the other way to win...I was FLIPPING OUT hahahaGamertag: xI Trooper

Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
Are you sure the ball didn't bounce off the side of the upright and go through? That happens occasionally. If it bounced off the front of the upright and landed in the endzone and was awarded the 3 points then that's a problem.Patriots

Kicking is too easy, it needs to be addressed.Playing sim is a disadvantage? I beg to differ:
150-36 Madden 09 Record.
20-4 Madden 10 Record.
24-8 Madden 12 Record.Comment

Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
No wonder lol
I've had Rob Bironas kick a 59 yard FG to win the game in the playoffs, and a Jason Elam 61 yard kick. The CPU kicking game is a little too good. Better than Last Gen Madden games though. on All-madden on PS2 they never missed.Comment

Yeah Reed for some strange reason is terrible on Madden, though very good in real life.Comment

Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
well its because jeff reed has a terrible kick power, high 80's - low 90's? Raiders, Packers have great kickers. Sebastian Janikowski and Mason Crosby, 99 and 98 power kick 65 yard FG's easily. i was half a yard short of making 70 with Sebastian Janikowski... RAIDERS <3333Comment

Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
IRL Reed wont kick long 50+ bombs but he's generally money up to around 45 yards. Actually GB's kicker Crosby can kick long fg's but is generally inaccurate and isnt rated very high in Madden either.Comment

Re: Longest FG by Computer to win the Game
IRL? well, anyways the only thing that matters is kick power in a game of Madden. Unless you play franchise and simulate your games. If you want to get the greatest amount of power you can get out of your kick. You put the LS, all the way down. Kick it to full power, and you have a 50+ yard FG every time, regardless who ur kicker is.
