The bowl system needs some serious work

This year, I've got a 7-5 Miami team playing a 4-8 Virginia Tech team in the Meineke Bowl. There is all sorts of wrong with that. a 4-8 VT (who went 1-7 in ACC play). 2 ACC teams playing each other. Yep, that's a fail. Hopefully this is impoved upon next year.

Ya that's pretty bad. I've seen 5-7 teams make it but 4-8 is bad. Especially two acc teams against each other. I don't know how thats possible

This system has been broken for a while. This needs to be fixed as it is the equivalent of poor seeding in any sports tournament

The Big East bowls are all messed up too. Constantly getting middle of the road MAC and Sun Belt teams taking up the Gator Bowl bid. Notre Dame is constantly playing in wacky bowls that they usually wouldn't even go to. The game doesn't send losing teams over 6-6's as far as I've ever noticed, so it has to go to a 5-7. The CPU doesn't play enough 1-AA games to avoid that problem though. There are pretty close to 100 in real life lately, which helps us ensure that we don't run out of 6-6 teams, but schedules are beyond messed up, so that's partly what's causing some bad bowl matchups.

In an OD the other day my 10-2 WKU team played a 5-6 FSU team.

That goes with the other thing that needs to be fixed when adjusting teams schedules the game should still make sure all teams have 12 games.

Yeah all these are really bad. But I have had Florida(which starts out as the number 1 team) go underfeated and not make it to the MNC game. Not as bad but still a clear sign this is broken.

some of these are really amazing and it's weird because i've never experienced anything like it. I haven't ever made a bowl without a winning record and never played a team who didn't have one. Also never really seen a team in the NC who didn't deserve to be there.

ive had V-Tech and G-Tech in the NC game, but G-Tech never played in the ACC champ game. both went 10-1, but somehow G-Tech jumped whoever lost the ACC champ game to go. ive also seen boise st alot, houston, and alot of 10-2 teams when there were a few 11-1 teams.

EA should give us the option for a playoff. If I remember correctly, some of the NCAA games on the ps1 offered us an option for a post season playoff (NCAA 01?)

The NCAA probably wouldn't let them do that
