A-Gone is the best fielding 1B IMO. Texiera #2 probably, and then then Morales, Morneau, and Lee in the #3-5 spots.Comment

Also, keep in mind Lee had the inside track on plate vision over Adrian, as well as speed and baserunning ability/aggressiveness.Comment

In all honesty, I think Adrian should be ahead of Lee. However, I can see why Lee might be rated ahead of him.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Top 5 First Baseman (Show Community Site)
I don't want to nit pick or anything, but a few problems with Albert. His stance is the same as last year. He isn't in that open stance in real life, it's normal. And any Cardinals fan that gets to watch Albert knows he's an aggressive baserunner and a smart one. I know he doesn't steal bases which are what those ratings do if they are high so you can't do that and have Albert steal 40 bases. But maybe just have ratings such as intelligence?Comment

I hate not seeing Morneau even in the top 9. But Aside from the 45 hr's each year from Ryan Howard, I don't really see him as anything special, when he strikes out one-third of the time at the plate. His average did come to me as a bit of surprise though.Comment

Adrian Gonzalez is a two time defending gold glover at first (won last two years) and plays in a pitcher's park. No one in the world hit more homeruns on the road last year.Comment

Adrian Gonzalez is a .310 hitter on the road, Petco kills him.

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Top 5 First Baseman (Show Community Site)
No because it wouldnt be 99's, it would be more like 99, 97, 97, 96, 95, etc. The ratings bar makes it seem like all 99's though. The ratings bar just seems like an energy or stamina bar. I just cant stand them displaying ratings that way. Is frustrating to have to go into each player to check their rating on somethingComment

But that is what is nice about games, we can adjust to how we see fit.Comment
