    Tracy McGrady and NYK

When he is healthy, he's still a top talent. No reason he should not be a top 10 SG rating wise (at least). I understand the reason for the drop was due to his play last season when he was still hurt but I've never been a fan of dropping a player's rating when they are clearly not 100%. Last year, playing on one leg, he looked washed up but after watching him with the Knicks, I was impressed. I don't expect him to be what he was in his prime but other than Wade, Kobe, JJ and Roy I'd rank him with any other 2 guard. An 80-82 rating is not out of the question in my opinion.

Watching him play I noticed the explosion off the dribble isn't what it was (should get better when he gets his legs back but will never be explosive again in my opinion) but he showed he's still a smart player with great awareness. His jumper looked good. His hustle should be around 35-40 because you can tell he is not risking another injury by taking any "chance" plays. Which is good. Stamina still needs work but that was expected. Passing skills were still crisp as ever, really found teammates for buckets. Could have had a few more assists if teammates finished open looks.

The entire feel of the game was different when Sergio was in there. He pushed the ball every chance he got, penetrated and kicked out finding open teammates over and over. Another guy who should've had a few more assists. He will help Gallo a lot by finding him shots. I've been a big fan of Sergio for years and this is his chance to prove me right or make me look dumb, I think he'll turn a lot of heads in the next 29 games.

Giving up the picks were tough but Walsh did a nice job. I don't think LeBron, Wade or Bosh are going to NYC but he set them up to have a shot. If McGrady regains his form, and money is truly not an issue like he said, it could be enough to entice a couple of stars to go to New York and establish a contender. If not this summer then next when Carmelo (Northeast native, college at Syracuse) is a free agent. Should be fun to watch. Thoughts?

Hey im a big knicks fan and i was very inpressed with the new acquisitions that the knicks have mad but the 26pts 4rebs & 5 assist that T-Mac have was the the all-star T-Mac but im more interested to see him play on monday night when and in the coming week or 2 after the adrenaline wears off if he keeps it up there's no choice but to boost up his ratings.

Even though your grammar needs some serious work, the content is certainly there. As a Rockets fan, I can tell you that you would be smart, like you seem to be, to not make too much of one game. People forget that what happened with McGrady and the Rockets has happened to two other teams before: the Magic and Raptors.

The guy is one of the laziest players in the game and has a habit of disappearing when the game matters the most. He'll put up 40 in the first 3 quarters but go 0-10 from the field in the 4th quarter. Enjoy him Knicks fans. He's playing for a contract right now. Hopefully, your organization won't fall for it and give him a fat contract only to have him slack off and suffer "injury" after "injury".

Oh and maybe you will also get to enjoy having him tell your organization that he is healthy but then the second you want to trade him, he goes to his buddy Stephen A. Smith to say that he is having surgery. Good times!!!

          That gay huh?

          Haha!!

Yeah, Sergio Rodriguez looks legit. I kind of wish the Rockets had gotten him, but I certainly can't complain about the deal. Kevin Martin is one of the best scorers in the game and if the Knicks continue to suck, those draft picks could be big. Also, I think you guys gave up on Jordan Hill a bit too soon.

People forget how often post players suck early in their careers. Take Landry for instance. He almost didn't even make the team his rookie year. In fact, he got released the summer before, but then we resigned him. He didn't really start showing anything until his second season.

Well, enjoy McGrady. Hopefully he works out for you, but I wouldn't count on it.
