Time For A New Beginning: Expansion Team Franchise
BREAKING NEWS:
Raiders owner Al Davis does not match offer made by Joseph Anderson to buy team out. Davis, he would plan to replace the Raiders with his own expansion team that will most likely play in Los Angeles. Anderson made the following statement regarding the buyout: “I know that this move may hurt many Oakland Raider fans, but I’ve decided that the Raider’s franchise will come to an end. The team I have chosen to replace the Raiders will be an expansion team named the Sharks, who will be playing in Los Angeles. I believe this was the right move in replacing the Raiders because not only have the Raiders been unsuccessful in the recent years, but also fan support in Oakland was also very low and did not seem to go up any time soon. I believe that it was time for the Raiders to be replaced. It is time for a new beginning…of the Los Angeles Sharks.”
