Question about release date

I thought places like Gamestop will have the game in their stores next Tuesday but then I heard that it will ship Tuesday and therefore be in stores next Wednesday. Can anyone confirm what day '10 will be in stores? Not a huge difference, but it would be nice to know. (Oh, and feel free to lock this when it's answered)

Most of the time like MLB 09's release, I went to 3 stores the same day of release and told me the same words "Tomorrow". Hope this year that won't happen

It should be on the shelves to be purchased on the 2nd.
Its strange how big name places like gamestop release the game that day but small video game stores sell it days in advance.

The Show is street dated for the 2nd. It should be in stores on the 2nd.

There's no guarantee of a midnight release for this game, as far as I know. I think it kind of hinges on what GS wants to do about BF:BC2, because I don't think they'll hold a midnight release for a couple of baseball games.

I was told by managers at local stores that some stores will have this game on Friday or Monday but they cannot sell it until Tuesday so it's not a case of the game shipping on Tuesday and being in stores on Wednesday. As countryboy says it's a Tuesday release.

yeah...my local Gamestop isn't doing a midnight launch for BF2 according to a friend of mine. And there's no guarantee they will sell the Show even if they do open at Midnight.
