for the most part it looks good, but i dont know if OKC would be to interested in pretty much giving up J. Harden, myers (looks like he could be good) and their pick for millsap a good pf, and a bench sg.

also it says OKC sends 2011 pick to OKC? i think you mean utah

and with lou williams playing so well will he be moved to sg?

EDIT: btw did you sim the rest of your association yr 2 season

Yeah, I was thinking that OKC was getting the shaft a bit here. You may want to look at somehow getting them another quality player or a future pick.

I made the move for OKC because they went 50-32 last year and made the NBA Finals beating Denver in 5 games. However, they got swept by the Chris Bosh led Knicks - who also still have Lee, Gallinari, and Chandler + T-Mac and TJ Ford.

OKC loses Harden but they have Shannon Brown who has progressed well, and ADD a big man like Millsapp who can board and be fed in the post. I moved Durant to SG, Jeff Green to SF, Millsapp plays the 4, and Jermaine O'Neal is OKCs Center. Russ Westbrook is still at point, and Eric Maynor, Leon Powe, Pops Mensah Bonsu, CJ Miles, a 67 rookie center, and Kyle Weaver make up the rest of that squad.

Still think OKC was shafted given that info?

My 76ers lineup looks like this now:

        PG-Deron Williams
        SG-Louis Williams
        SF-James Harden
        PF-Elton Brand
        C-(R) Chris Valentine (70 ovr)

        6th man Jason Richardson
        RP Al Thornton
        RP Jrue Holiday
        RP DaJuan Summers
        RP Fabricio Oberto

I also have a 70 over SF I drafted 8th overall and a 74 rated SG I drafted after yr1. Neither have factored into my current plans though.

It just depends what you are going for...as far as in real life? It's not happening. Rasheed and KG are really beginning to show their age. Amundson is developing into a great "glue" type of guy for the Suns, so I don't see them letting him go anytime soon. Dudley is another one, pretty cheap player that adds outside shooting off the bench.

As far as in NBA 2K10, the Suns are getting the short end of the stick. Amare is dominant in the low post, KG and Wallace don't equal his offensive power. Defense KG and Wallace are better, but you don't know what you will get from them on the other side. Plus how do you run Amundson and Big Baby? Niether is much of an option at center, they are both power forwards. Daniels for Dudley doens't help the Suns since they already have Richardson and Barbosa at the 2. And Dudley is a better option playing the 3.

                  Just my thoughts...

Well my theory is there is a big possibility of amare leaving in the offseason and they will lose him for nothing. They also strengthen their weakest spot at center. Do u think the trade would be more fair if i drop dudley from the trade

JBH3...with the way you have Lou Williams playing, I think this is a very good trade. The only worry I would have is how strong your backcourt will be on the defensive end....especially losing a defensive player like Iggy at the 2. Also, this rookie you got must be good for you to give up on Speights. But we'll see....looks like a fun team!

Yea...I'm a bit undersized at the 2 now, and have enjoyed my time w/ Louis running point, but two years of losing called for a change.

As for Speights...he will be missed. He was a cap casualty being in the final year of his rookie contract, and being that I drafted a PF/C rookie w/ A- potential who I want to start so I can get reward points to use in mini-camps and further develop my team.

I agree that they may lose him for nothing, but getting KG and Wallace do not do anything for the Suns in the future. KG and Wallace's value decline every year. They would be starting over if they had KG and Wallace, just like they would if Stoudamire left. But with Stoudamire, they would at least have a chance to re-sign him. They wouldn't want to re-sign KG and Wallace because of their age.

If you want to make this trade (fair) you are going to have to give the Suns some youth with potential, a already developed player that isn't on their last wheel, and probably some draft picks. I would suggest bringing in a third team to the deal.

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread

Please tell me your thoughts on this trade as I am not sure. This is in my 30 team association dynasty btw which is in its 2nd year.

The Celtics are struggling in 12th place in the Eastern Conference, mostly because of their age. The Hornets are also struggling in 12th place in the West, and in my opinion it's because Chris Paul has been given no scoring threat at the 2 or 3.

Ray Allen just re-signed with the Celtics with a small 2 year contract, but I still thought it would be smart to trade him since he hasn't been helping the Celtics too much, and has no potential anymore. The Celtics need a solid back-up point guard to Rajon Rondo too, who could possibly play alongside him at the 2.

The Celtics receive: Darren Collison, Darius Songaila (EC)

                              The Hornets receive: Ray Allen

Think about it, the Celtics get a young rising player in Collison who can spell Rondo a lot, and possibly play alongside him. Songaila has a big 1 year contract which has to be included to take on Ray Allen's contract (which isn't big at all), and he will most likely not be re-signed. Then the Hornets get a great shooter at the 2, and put one of the best shooting line-ups in NBA history on the court with Ray Ray, and Stojakovic starting. Them combined with David West who is having an all-star year so far, and Emeka Okafor, and Paul has a lot of options.

I almost had a deal with Deng going to the Hornets, Allen and Sheed to the Bulls, and Collison to the Celtics, but the contracts didn't quite work out, and Deng just signed a 4 year/ 51 million dollar contract so I figured it didn't quite make sense.

So tell me what you think. Thanks for any input.
I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.

Rayallen20, the trade logic seems good.

but with the roster update, i dont know about the ratings in your association, D-Coll was rated a 75 so i dont think the hornets would trade him for ray allen after collisons recent hot streak since paul got injured. but assuming your playing on older rosters dcoll may be still in the 60's so that would be fair
