Wow another crappy list. Nelson Cruz?????????? The guy has 1 ok year hitting in an extreme hitters park and gets put over almost everybody? Where in the world is Andre Eithier? Nick Swisher had a better year than Nelson Cruz. Where is Nick Markakis? How in the world is Nelson Cruz so frigging over rated. SCEA really needs to add in park factors when evaluating players. I am going to have a fun time toning down the over rated Rangers.

Better would be defined with slight bias I think.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 02-26-2010, 01:48 AM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

And Cruz has 18 at home and 15 away. Means nothing, just throwing it out there, that funny how ones wont take into account lineups they play in as well as stadiums for their own players.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Damn Nick Swisher for playing in band boxes on the road!Comment

Also, Swish's rating probably wasn't too respectable last year considering his .219 BA the year before.
I'd say both factored ultimately in the decision for this rating.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Top 5 Right Fielders
Idk if this adds to a players rating but one thing that could be benefiting Cruz is the fact that he was an allstar last year so that could boost his game rating.

Wow, no Andre Either and no Nick Markakis means unauthentic. Magglio, Dye and Vlad all should not be on this list.
Ichiro well deserving of #1. And my boy Justin Upton is definitely deserving of that 2nd spot. The top 3 are dead on but yeah Nick and Andre should be rounding out that Top 5.Yankees & Nationals - The American Way!Comment

I thought Justin Upton was faster than that?Comment

And Nelson Cruz was a part time scrub in 2006 and 2007 while hitting .230 combined. They cant put a 1 year player into the top 5 over someone like Nick Markakis. Just cant do it.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Top 5 Right Fielders
I'm not big in Franchise. I may get into it, but if I do I'll probably just stick with the current White Sox roster and do what I usually do which is find a way to assemble the greatest pitching staff known to mankind. The funny thing is that the first move I always make is trade for Jake Peavy, looks like I won't need to be doing that this yearComment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Top 5 Right Fielders
So let me get this straight.....
Josh Hamilton has a great 2008, and an awful injury ridden 2009. Get's rated the 2nd best LF.
Carlos Quentin has a great 2008, and a decent injury ridden 2009. Not even in the top 9 for RF.
So, no Beckham, and no Quentin? And Dye is even rated higher than Quentin?
Looks like I am going to have to edit some stuff......
PS: Nick Markakis not being at least top 5 is a crime.Comment
