RTP was obviously turned off in these clips. Everything is cutscenes.

one thing thats been buggin me is the camera changes too fast after a hitter makes contact (From the pitching view)

I dont see how you can tell which way the ball was hit at all. (until u pick it up on the view it switches to in warp speed) ah

Watching Mariners at Rangers Part 1. Scott Feldman walked Ichiro on what looked to be a slider around the 4:30 mark. Is it just me or did the slider have a lot more vertical break opposed to horizontal when compared to last year's game? If slider break is more individualized this year that's pretty freaking fantastic.

Game would look so much better if I could see the batters follow through.

Both of those triples were user errors. Watch the first triple, the guy playing ran the wrong way with the centerfielder! That ball may have been caught if he ran the correct direction. At worst it would have been a double.

On the second triple, look at how the player controls to RF. He totally misplayed the ball off the wall, and then he throws the ball from the warning track all the way to 3B!!

This is why gameplay videos should be CPU vs CPU. I don't know about anyone else, but I would get so annoyed when those silly training screens would pop up on the screen! I was screaming for the dude to hit [] and get rid of them.

He could have used different options. He was changing camera angles int he HRD clip.

I agree. The camera changes WAY too quickly with the broadcast camera. It doesn't really bother me, but if they find a way to cure this next year, the game will look so much better!

very possible and I sure hope so as that looked very '09 in the Ichiro clip

Agreed. User errors are quite obvious, yet people can not realize that sometimes.

It's cutscenes. Just look at 3:30. Felix Hernandez is just standing there doing nothing. Then a second later the screen flashes and he is stretching beyond the mound.

Is there an option to play with RTS and cutscenes? If so, maybe that's what is going on in these clips. If not, then RTP is turned off. There are a lot of cutscenes in these clips.

I just watched that clip and I gotta say, that is the best home run derby I've ever seen in a video game. I actually wanna play that. They did a good job with it.

That they did. Just goes to show, that they will not implement anything, unless it is done right. And professional. They are not about gimmicks.

Blazer made a post about it the other day, where in an effort to make balls hit down the line or in the gaps not be cut off as much they gave the ball a little more juice. Hopefully it is just the camera because it looks like they might have overdone it.

Like I said overall though, the game looked fantastic. The lighting, animations and ball physics all looked improved over last year.
Blzer is wrong. Balls jump off bats that fast! It is called Force. Have him read up on Newton's laws! I am not talking about Fig Newtons either!
