its my 2nd year and Collison has improved to a 74, while Allen is a 79. Unfortunately the Hornets can't play Collison too much as he plays behind Paul, and Paul and Collison make a very short line-up. I think I am going to pull the trigger on this trade, and thanks for your input.

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
I don't like the hornets giving up Collison (22 years old) for Ray Allen (35 years old) especially with Collison's upside. Seems like they're kind of getting the shaft on that deal. Ray Allen doesn't make them a championship team so why would they give up they're promising sophmore guard for Allen who's about to retire. I'd think they'd trade him for some younger talent.
I know Allen is a 3PT assassin, but I just don't see the Hornets making that trade irl.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Hey tell me what you guys think of this trade I pulled off in my Blazers franchise.
Magic Receive:
Jerryd Bayless
Greg Oden
Lamarcus Aldridge
1st Round Pick
Blazers Receive:
Dwight Howard
1st Round Pick
then
Nets Receive:
Nicolas Batum
1st Round Pick (ORL)
Blazers Receive:
1st Round Pick
The first round pick I got from the Nets ended up being the fourth pick and I was able to get Ed Davis to replace Aldridge. I ended up making the finals in year one, winning the finals in year 2 behind MVP Dwight Howard, and I am in the playoffs in year 3 behind MVP Brandon Roy this time. Roy and Howard make an unbelievable team that is really fun to play with.Comment

That's quite a haul Orlando got for Howard. I'd say it's a fair deal. How has it worked out for Orlando?Hey tell me what you guys think of this trade I pulled off in my Blazers franchise.

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Try using him in the pick and roll. He is an absolute beast if you can hit him moving back door towards the basket. I'm constantly getting 20+ points a game from him doing this.Im lookin to trade Andrew Bogut. Realistically though I don't see the Bucks trading Bogut any time soon. They just committed a ton of money to him last year and with Jennings entering the picture they are looking to build the whole team around those two. It's hard to find consistent 20/10 guys and Bogut is turning into one of the best.I WOULD TRADE EVERY GAME I OWN JUST TO HAVE A PERFECT MADDEN.....Comment

I the game, that's a fair trade (sort of) but in "real life" that would never happen.
I have a rule in this game: No trading young-ish franchise cornerstones or recent rookies (including LeBron, Kobe, Wade, Bosh, Dirk, Dwight, Roy, Jennings, Evans, Curry, Horford, etc). If they leave via free agency it's open season, but otherwise I think it's too unrealistic/unfair to trade these guys.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
I am the Oklahoma City Thunder, right off the bat i got an offer for Grant Hill from the suns and I knew I already have Durant but hey hes a good back up, and i was able to trade James Harden and my first round pick for OJ Mayo, also signed Big Z in free agency.
Westbrook
Mayo
Durant
Big Z
Green
Is this supporting cast for Durant good or no? I need some ideas of what to do to help him out, any ideas guys? ThanksB'sComment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Not sure how expensive it would be to get someone like this, but I'd look into getting someone like Steve Blake or Pat Mills or something to back up Westbrook. Some sort of PG that can shoot from outside. Or, even better, a guy that can play point or SG and shoot from outside.I am the Oklahoma City Thunder, right off the bat i got an offer for Grant Hill from the suns and I knew I already have Durant but hey hes a good back up, and i was able to trade James Harden and my first round pick for OJ Mayo, also signed Big Z in free agency.

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
OJ Mayo can be that guy. He should be getting 38 to 40 minutes so I'd move him over to point and bring in a shooter from the bench when it's time to spell Westbrook.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm debating about which team to roll with, but for now it's the Bobcats. I trade away one of my lesser used centers for Sean May, I know he isn't anything special, but he is younger, and has some better potential than the guy I traded.
I'm trying to get rid of Stephen Jackson, but not sure who to look for in exchange. I like to shoot the 3, but don't really have a sure fire 3 point threat, have a few guys who can hit it, but not really a sure fire guy like Peja or someone of that sort. Does anyone have any suggestions about who to go for with Stephen Jackson as the main guy. I'm looking for a SF or a C in exchange, but mostly a 3 point shooting SF.Teams:

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm OKC. Its year two. The heat have signed Boozer, and are playing Beasley at the 3.
OKC Trades:
Jeff Green
Kyle Weaver
2011 1st rnder
MIA Trades:
Michael Beasley
I'd edit Jeff Green to his natural 3 position, which gives him a 79 rating. The Heat don't have a real 3, and are using Beasley. I don't have a real 4, and Im using Green. Is this going to be fair? (assuming they even accept it)Comment
