Is All Star level easier in MLB 10 The Show?

After playing MLB 09 The Show for a little while and now MLB 10 The Show is it just me or is "All Star level" in MLB 10 The Show easier? Reason I ask is because I seem to be able to strike out batters easier then I did with MLB 09 The Show. I also seem to be able to beat up on
"bad teams" easier then I did in MLB 09 The Show.

Also the CPU batters seem to take a lot more pitches this year "First Pitch" for example but I guess that would be a good thing right?

I guess I could have also just gotten a lot better

Hitting on All Star Level seems about the same as 09 but pitching just seems a little easier too me.

I am I dreaming or what? lol

After 3 games my pitchers ERA is 1.66 in All Star. Getting alot more caught looking strike outs. Although I just used a lefty on the mound, is that "low power" bug affecting results or do the bars just show low power against lefties? Blake hit an opposite field homer against me but nobody else seemed to have any pop.

Well the nice thing about this year is that you can leave the hitting on All-Star and bump up the pitching to Hall of Fame. That's where I figure I'll end up.

Guess it would differ by person.

I find it easier to hit and harder to pitch on All-star. On default sliders, I always get 10+hits and 3~5 BB while giving up at least 4 runs. I get punished a lot with mis-placed change-ups.

Maybe that is because I spent 70% of time playing RTTS SS last year...

All-Star is definitely easier to hit than last year. Last year it took me almost a month to learn how to hit. This year in my first game I scored 12 runs, 6 of them off of Halladay. And its not like I perfected hitting or anything cuz I havent played '09 in months. Not a big deal cuz there are two more difficulty levels to move to and I LOVE the fact you can use two different difficulty settings for pitching and hitting.

Only thing I can say is dont chase balls out of the zone or even strikes on the edges. Only way you can do that is by continuing to play. Eventually you develop an eye for balls and strikes.

Here is 3 of my 1st 4 swings of the bat in the game on All-Star with no slider adjustments. I found it quite easy to hit then n 09. Just need to hit up the slider section for some goodies!

2 singles a 5 pitch walk and a grand slam off of Jake Peavy.

In veteran mode you can hit with timing only (by not messing with the PCI stick.) Once you get a feel for that move up to PCI.

I'm actually finding it considerably easier. I might have to bump it up to HoF.

Definitely easier to hit--and, to be honest, I'm not getting hit around as much either.
