I agree with what you said though for the most part though and I give them the benefit of the doubt for right now.
I hope so but I have heard that before alot. A preview will show certain flaws and we believe it is not the final build but it ends up staying that way. So I am just hoping for the best. But the INT in the endzone makes me feel better about the defense.

Now I really want to know how players will be different from each other. How do the stars of the team play compared to the rest? I was really shocked to read about how much they have put in the game. They remind me of Microsoft when the Xbox was first announced. They just seem like they are putting everything in the game that we have asked for. They are leaving no stone unturned.

I also want to know if you can strafe on defense. That defensive cam will need the option. So I was definitely wrong when I said that it seemed like the defense wouldn't be as fun to play as offense.

But this game looks like a gimmick and after how long its taken them to get this game done, i'm disappointed thats the only camera option they got and that the game is essentially next gen NFL Blitz with fake teams and better hitting technology.
Everyone's entitled to there opinion but, I gotta disagree on the every hit is a KO. There were hardly any hard hits at all that vid. There was a good amount of weight clashing together but, that was miles away from the KO hits from the trailers I've seen.

Yeah that might be true about the final build thing but, I'm really not going to judge until I see the pro mode and a good 8-10 minute vid with nothing but, gameplay. I hope they come out with a demo of the game and hopefully not just tackle alley. I got feeling thats exactly what there going to do.

I don't want too hear anything about stiff animations. If you can play the other game and not bat an eye, you should be used to it.

No injuries? = no depth, No depth usually = no realism... Whats the point of the big hits if no one gets hurt or takes a serious stamina hit and have to sit out a series or a half or a game??? this is where having a UK dev team hurts.. I like creating my own team and building generic teams thru the draft.. so im buying!

Either player models look too big or the camera is too close

I think this game will be great at it's core, but will be missing the little things to make it complete football. Only 16 stadiums??? Why have they taken soooo long with this game and only 16 stadiums? The AI and animations must take forever to program

There are things I don't like, but I'm willing to check the game out. Not a big fan of no injuries and the Euro soccer trappings of the leagues and player movement will probably grow on me. The camera is different and not as bad as I originally thought. The player models look, um, weird to me and the jersey numbers look tiny. But those last two are minor, very minor gripes. I'll probably never play arcade mode and definitely want more control over passing. This game has potential and as long as it's fun, I'll pick it up. In my mind this is a different beast from Madden or NCAA and should be looked at as such. However I won't make apologies for the developers for things that are missing because "it's their first game/attempt." That's just an excuse. Again, the game looks interesting. We'll see how it plays when it drops.

I understand why injuries were left out: You don't want to just randomly hurt a guy (like in Madden), but instead use the engine. Problem is, even though you have muscle/skeleton structures, you would need a way to know when they have been pushed beyond their limits.

While they have the ability to do this, it takes a lot of coding to work right, and if not tuned properly, you can easily get dozens of injuries. Not a huge concern for the first release, but its something essential in the comming years. Guess we do know why the devs don't have a "Franchise" per say, because injuries are a pretty important feature for that.

also @ 4:45 the trowing motion looks slightly better too.

I'm still mad about Ian saying this game/engine will not allow us to break tackles, I've seen quite a few so far.
why would you market against your own product? But im not surprised the information was incorrect.
