it turns out it was related to the stupid 40-man roster. the roster file that I downloaded and edited...none of the prospects were on their team's 40 man roster. sooooo, I had to go in there and get the top 2-3 prospects from each team, add them to the 40 man, remove someone from the 40 man, throw them in AAA...had to do this with every team to get the prospects in the game onto season mode.

hopefully the OS Full Minors will have the top prospects on the 40-man...
