Can someone help me?

When I quit game after hitting the PS button, my PS3 resets more often than not. The Show 10 is the only game that does this. Is it an issue with the game?

Yep and its beyond annoying. I dont know of a fix, but I wouldnt think this is good for the PS3 either

Yeah ever since I installed the patch this has happened. I try to quit when the HDD light isn't blinking just in case. Who knows what will happen on a sudden reboot while the drive head is still moving or something.

Ya for some reason, when you hold the ps button to exit the game, then select exit game, the ps3 kind of freezes and then the screen goes blank, the ps3 beeps 3x, shuts off and comes back on.

Hmmm.... Corrupt file possibly? If it was the game we would all see it, no?

I am wondering something.. I bought the game after the first patch came out, so when I put the game in, it prompted me to download the patch first and then it went into its regular install of the main game data.

Would this cause a problem because the patch was downloaded and installed before the game data file?

I would have installed the game first, then the patch. Personally I would redo it. Turn off your online capabilities for the ps3, install the game and then get the patch.

Nope no classic stadiums. Hmm, I'll try deleting the game data and reinstall to see if it helps.

I don't have classic stadiums, I rented the game. Also, got the game on day one, and it started happening after the patch.

This is weird what some of you are saying. So if you are at the screen where you choose exhibition, season, franchise and all of that.....you're saying if you hold your ps3 button to turn your game off it resets the system?? That's how I quit my game and have not seen this.

So what's the safest way to turn the game off??

If it is not resetting the ps3 when you do it then you are fine. It may have to do with downloading the patch before installing the game.

I downloaded the patch the day after installing the game. I got the game on the day it came out and the patch was the next day.
