Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
I am the Grizzlies and i want a good defensive minded center. Would it be fair/realistic to trade marc gasol 76 ovr. for greg oden 75 ovr. or joakim noah 73 ovr.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Neither is fair. You gave up too much for Evans and got waaaay too much for Nenad. Center's like Kristic are a dime a dozen. If Portland wanted a Nenad type player, they'd sign him and keep Oden too. 2011 OKC first rounder is nothing eitherLast edited by iRepOklahoma; 03-06-2010, 04:21 PM.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Too much for Beasley. He's not an all star in the game and IRL he's absolutely been going backwards in the last month. I expect his ratings to drop in the next roster update. However I understand why you did it. I had the Heat sign Boozer and tried Boozer at C with Beasley at PF and it tanked. So I tried Beasley at SF and inserted Joel Anthony at C just to rebound (O'neal was gone). That failed miserably too. Boozer and Beasley just didn't play well together. I would say that Weaver and Green is probably fair for Beasley without the pick.I'm OKC. Its year two. The heat have signed Boozer, and are playing Beasley at the 3.
OKC Trades:
Jeff Green
Kyle Weaver
2011 1st rnder
MIA Trades:
Michael Beasley
I'd edit Jeff Green to his natural 3 position, which gives him a 79 rating. The Heat don't have a real 3, and are using Beasley. I don't have a real 4, and Im using Green. Is this going to be fair? (assuming they even accept it)Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Not recommended. I've simmed through several assocations for a few years and Tyreke never develops into the star you think he will. 18 and 7 is about what he peaks at each time. Westbrook on the other hand has been rated as high as 3rd in the league for efficiency for an entire season. So for 2k, I actually think Westbrook has consistently developed into the superior player.Comment

I thought the same after a couple of games. Anyway being from Chicago I started a new association with the bulls. I needed a SG so I did the following trade:Not recommended. Chicago trade:
Hinrich & Noah & 11 1st round pick
Memphis trade:
Mayo & Thabeet
This way I get a SG and a potential 7.3 ft player to develop
Mayo by the way has been a beast scoring 23-25 pts / game

I'm not sure that IRL that's really robbery. Noah is arguably the second best player on the Bulls and is one of the best rebounders in the league. Hinrich is a great fit for Memphis with his versatility. The Bulls get a great scorer and a C that has a LONG ways to go. I'd be cool with this deal.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Tell me what you guys think of this trade. I'm the Heat in the 1st season of my association and we are currently 3-6 in a 29 game season. I signed Ilgauskus at the beginning of the season from free agency. I made this trade just to get a little more rebounding and long range shooting from my bench.
Heat trade:
Ilgauskus (Mav's)
Q. Richardson (Cav's)
M. Bonner (Mav's)
2nd rnd pick- from spurs (Mav's)
Mav's trade:
E. Dampier (Heat)
Cav's trade:
A. Parker (Heat)
2nd rnd pick (Heat)Last edited by Danny McCoy; 03-10-2010, 10:55 PM.Comment

Actually Thabeet has a long way to go. So I need a C or a big PF.I'm not sure that IRL that's really robbery. I am thinking trading T. Gibson and 2nd pick for A. Blatche from the wizards.
Any suggestions?Last edited by chokokoko; 03-11-2010, 12:53 PM.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
LOL @ some of these OKC trades on here.... green for beasley? really? no idea why you would want beasley over green... but i can live with that i suppose....
westbrook for tyreke? no no no no no lol westbrook is the better player in the game and IRL he gets overshadowed cause he's playing with durant.... tyreke is an awesome talent... but SAC had to ship kevin martin because tyreke isn't a point guard lol
and why on god's green earth would you want oj mayo over james harden? better yet why would either team make that trade? james harden is bigger scores in the paint better and is perfectly suited for the 6th man role for OKC as he can slide down and spell durant at the 3 for short periodsComment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
Haven't made this trade yet but I am the Miami Heat and i need a little more rebounding from my starting center.
Heat (me) trade:
M. Beasley(Blazer's)
Sefolosha (Blazer's)
1st rnd pick (Blazer's)
Blazer's trade:
G. Oden (Heat)
R. Fernandez (Heat)
What do u guy think of this trade? Any other variations of this trade you suggest?Last edited by Danny McCoy; 03-13-2010, 12:57 PM.Comment

Re: Official Rate My Trade Thread
I would go after Hickson before Shaq. Giving up any sort of Draft pick for Gibson isnt worth it either. You will most likely have a good chance at getting a better player than him in the 2nd Rd.Haven't made this trade yet but I am the Miami Heat and i need a little more rebounding from my starting center.
Heat (me) trade:
J. O'neal (Cav's)
2nd rnd pick (Cav's)
Cav's trade:
S. O'neal (Heat)
D. Gibson (Heat)
What do u guy think of this trade? Any other variations of this trade you suggest?Comment
