    Should I start a franchise??

I was reading about some of the bugs/glitches and I was wondering if you will have to restart a franchise for all of the roster updates etc. to work? The one I'm most concerned about is the potential ratings.

I haven't gotten a chance to actually buy the game yet but I do wish for once a game could be shipped ready to go out of the box without having to wait a month at least to get it to function properly.Of course I do realize they put it enough work as it is and especially with games like the show I can put up with it as nothing will ever be perfect.

I assume that you would probably have to restart a franchise for the roster update or patch to be applied but I just want to start it already haha.

I would wait 2 days for the potential issue to be fixed.

I have to admit that I agree completely with the bolded part. Last year we had the schedule issue which was patched but because of the glitch it wouldnt take effect in current franchises so we had to avoid downloading it or our franchise would freeze unless we restarted. This year its the potential issue that is causing people to have to wait, and thats not including the issues that can only be fixed via patch which wont be coming anytime soon. Looking forward to the game only to buy it and be told to wait nearly a week to play franchise if you dont want guys like Jose Reyes to fall off the face of the planet skill wise isnt exactly a great solution.

To answer your question, which I kinda touched on anyways, I would wait until the roster update on Monday before starting. With the potential of so many players being so low coupled with their high contracts its causing not only players to take a nose dive skill wise but also be traded. The workaround thats out there will work for the most part but this potential issue really could be the cause of so many roster related problems that are being discussed.

Well I was going to buy it yesterday at Wal-Mart regardless but they haven't had it in stock since the release day and the nearest mall is about a 45 minute drive so hopefully they'll have it tomorrow.

I have come to the conclusion that probably no game will ever be released without some sort of weird bug/glitch.Although someone out there will always find something that slipped through the cracks but it just amazes me how some things just go unnoticed its like they don't even test these games out sometimes.I could probably write a 50 page essay about this but I think you guys get my point.

Most of the reviews of The Show I've read so far have praised the gameplay but always mention some non-gameplay issue. For example one review I read said in their RTTS he was a pitcher and won pretty much every individual award for that season but when it was playoff time he only played like 6 innings and next season he was still the 5th starter.Little things like these my not seem like a big deal to some but for me anyways its something huge that takes me totally out of the experience.
