    Submarine/Side Arm Pitchers

Aargh, they are a right pain... how do players IRL even think of facing one!

Seriously some of the pitches they drill along the ground leave me with a scuffed bat, but its not just that its the animation which always takes my eye away from focusing on the ball.

Still cant grumble I did jack a game winning shot off of one to start my franchise off... but I will maintain that I cant hit them

Always look for something low with sidearmers. I love getting a righty sidearmer when I'm hitting lefty. You can see the pitch, I know it's probably going to be low. See ball, rip ball.

Righty on righty or lefty on lefty is more difficult for sure, but that's the same as in the real thing also.

I absolutely love when they get brought into the game. I see the pitches really well and it is usually game over!

At first, it was a pain in the behind for me to hit these guys. Now, with the practice I can easily pick up the pitch being thrown. True stuff, lefty lefty and righty right does still get me most of the time.

Yeah...especially when they throw a mean slider low, very hard to hit. I think the pitches are either outside, low or right in the middle..so I just wait for that one to slip in the middle.

Looks like its just me then

I think as I said its the animation that takes my eye off everything, then the next thing I know the ball is there and im swatting flies.

Back to practice for me then.

Nope, I'm the same way. I have trouble with side arm'ers and change-ups. They'll always be my kryptonite. The only thing I suggest is the batting practice mode. Take a couple of cracks at one, say Cla Meredith of the Baltimore Orioles? Keep practicing until you feel confident "enough" against one of 'em.

yeah me too I usually kill them - Ive been having a harder time lately with slow junk pitchers - I'd rather face a power pitcher, it's easier for me

between the tough time i have not swinging at everything with normal pitchers and then adding in side-armers, i want to punch Sean Green in the face! lol
