Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: A New Game Plan
OMG, it sounds like this new guy here finally gets "it"
I said all along, I need to see effort. That's what Madden 10 had. It wasnt perfect, but the effort to make a big jump was there.
That's what I want from this series, it sounds like this guy recognizes the core aspects of this game have been broken for quite sometime.
I like what I hear so far. Either he's a hueg fan of the series himself, or he's been reading these boards.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: A New Game Plan
He mentions online being a big part of some new features. Anyone think this could potentially be an online play creator similar to teambuilder? I know I've been preaching nothing but gameplay enhancements the last few times I've been on here; however, this would be a really cool feature.
I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up for any specific feature/addition, but I am starting to get excited for NCAA 11 overall. There was definitely a different tone to that blog. It didn't seem like there was near the amount of sugar-coating or tip-toeing around the fact that the next gen NCAAs haven't lived up to their full potential. It felt like they finally owned up to the fact that they could do better and are committed to doing so. I like what I'm hearing so far, and I really hope they can back up their claims.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Blog: A New Game Plan
sounds like this guy just might "get it"... thank god.
IMO (and hope), this means better dynasty, authentic broadcast/atmosphere, and modes we actually want to see in the game.Core Experience
Authenticity
Innovation
I liked this the most:
What could this mean though? Will it play like an updated version of last gen?For NCAA Football 11, we've gone back to the very heart of our football engine and made some major upgrades. Lots more to come on this topic; I promise the core improvements will be worth the wait.Last edited by sportzbro; 03-10-2010, 01:54 AM.Comment

I like what he's saying....BUT...I will wait to see it before I believe it. Anyways, it is nice to see "possible" progress."The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Good read. Also good to have confirmation that the screenshot is 100% real.
I'm carefully optimistic as to what they have in store this year.Comment
