Anyone seen any collisions at home plate?

I have searched the forums and have not found much on this.... I have seen an awkward animation where the catcher moves out of the way if a throw is close but no direct collision.

My guess is that maybe this comes as a clutch moment with the camera change at a certain moment?

Yes, I plowed the catcher over once.

I've plowed the catcher over 4 or 5 times and each time I am hoping the ball pops out and I'll be safe. Hasn't happened yet. I've been out every time. I guess since I've seen this animation that many times I'm an awful baserunner. Which I am.

Once so far. Wells knocked the ball loose against the Rangers.

My brother accidentally sent a runner home and was a dead man. But I saw him try to bowl over the catcher. You're out!

Only once. The ball popped out and the CPU scored the go-ahead run. I wasn't happy.

Is this just an animation or there is a button to press that isn't in the manual or something?

The one time it happened for me it was done automatically (The catcher held on, BTW).

I sent the runner from 3rd on a dead duck at home, and he plowed into the catcher. I've never seen the catcher fumbling the ball for safe, tho.

I think the animation triggers automatically and not on a button push. It has occured for me both ways. It is always triggered when I'm gonna be out by a mile and my only hope is that the catcher drops it. But apparently that can happen, so that's good news.

I've gotten plowed over before...and my catcher dropped the ball.
