I wouldn't call it meaningless, it just has to be used in context just like 40 times and the number of times you can bench 225. Some guys may just not be all that bright, but for the most part I think the test can give an indication of how serious a player is taking the process, which can be key in how serious they'll take the transition from college to the pros. I think lower scores is more an indication of not caring enough to take it seriously than anything else.
