I'm getting great pitch counts and balanced games. Drawing walks on both sides. I'm on the mound and picking my spots and actually pitching. Playing defense. The flow of the game is kind of fast and still too easy to pinpoint your spots when on the mound, but 2k did a great job with this game this year. It's just fun and the gameplay is balanced. I also have a ps3 and the show, so without comparing the two, I'm saying this as someone who has played both games and isn't just a 360 only owner looking for a fix. It's funny because playing the show actually opened up different ways to play this game to me. In the show I was basically playing it as a sim because that's how i expect it to play. In the past 2k has always been so buggy I go into it trying to cheese and find out it's flaws, but I'm doign the same here(playing it as a sim) and getting great results. VC did work this year and really came through.

If they can iron out a few things this game will be there. The graphics are good enough although can be cleaned up a bit, and 90% of this game is really great. My two main issues arethe speed of the game is ridiculous and it's just too easy to pinpoint your spots when you need to. They need to incorporate more variable pitching as far as ratings where a pitch goes instead of just having the window of where you put your gesture determine it. Everything else is great. Ultimately 2k did a lot of things right. I love the batters eye. I love the stats and tendencies. I love the control. I love the commentary and presentation and MLB Today.
agree with youve said, but those are deal breakers for me.
The speed kills the game for me. doesnt have the pacing of baseball because of this.

pitching-I just lowered the pitch control attributes for my pitchers, and messed around with the balls thrown sliders to get less pinpoint pitching. and boy, does that work. I may have lowered them to much.

I also hate the fielding in this game. deosnt feel like Im doing anything.

good game but I actually went back to 2k9, with adjusted sliders.

By the time the real mlb season roles around Ill probably get back to 2k10. IM waiting for the patch for this.

I like the abundance of stats info during the game also.

not giving up on this title, but not really overjoyed with it.
