If it wasnt like this, the hot/cold streaks on day one of the regular season would have some guys batting a perfect 1,000... lol.

It seems like everything is working perfectly.

And nah, its past noon on the East coast, have a beer...
LOL. Yeah, I hear ya. I guess I just never noticed that in 2K9. Just glad they got it coded right.

As for that beer, I'm in the Central Time Zone... but I'll make an exception for today, since I'm at home. lol

It is at least better now, and we will hopefully see this completely resolved in the next patch. They just wanted to get this patch out ASAP (mainly to address the online ranked match problem), and they said that everything won't be fixed in this current patch, but at least we know they are making progress, they're wiring on the next patch already, and that they actually do care this year (unlike previous years).
Ummm, yeah, they are still staying in too long. I have played three games (actually CPU vs CPU) and both starters stayed in the game well over 100 pitches, into the middle of the 7th. Then, the relief pitchers stay in too long. Two of the three games I’ve done post patch have gone into extra innings. The day I see Bobby Jenks pitch 4 innings in real life will be the first time. Since I’m at work, I will cut this off for now. It just pisses me off that we have to deal with gamebreaking issues EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Patience is wearing thin, and like I said before, it’s like they’re doing it because they can. There ain’t nothing we can do about it. I guess we have to wait on the next patch.

Well the camera just sat zoomed in and locked in on the batter at the plate. The only way to get the game to resume was to bring in a new pitcher. This glitch caused me to bring in a RP that I didn't want to bring in who then gave up two hits and allowed ATL to tie the game, taking a win away from JA Happ who had recorded 8 Ks thus far, allowed only 5 hits, and 1 run through 6.2 innings pitched.

As for the glitch, many of us have seen this glitch.
All I had to do was press down on the d pad which leads you to the sub screen, dont sub just go back to game action and the game will resume. I have read about 4 different people say that is how they to got back to the game. You shouldnt need to sub out your pitcher. If anything sub out a position player dont bring in a cold pitcher.
Jake is right, all you have to do is press down on the d pad. You don't have to make any subs or anything.

I know it's still not right, but it is better than it was (and in real life, starters will sometimes pitch 7+ innings and over 100 pitches as long as they aren't getting lit up). Again, it still needs fixed, yet it is improved at least. But it's obvious they rushed thus patch out to fix the online ranked match bug and they tried to squeeze as many quick fixes in as they could, but the bigger fixes will have to wait till the next patch. If things aren't right then, you will definitely be right to complain.

And you mentioned The Show in your other rant post. I guess you haven't heard that it has a several bugs this year, so neither game is perfect this year, but it's nice to see 2K actually making a good effort this year to get 2K10 ironed out.

I completely agree with you here and think it's an important view to recognize at this point in the game.

              I agree with this too.

I think the next patch (which will be both patches for the PS3) should fix basically everything. (Save for a few things they might be ABLe to fix via patch.)

But regardless I know I have worked VERY hard along with others to keep Ron2K up-to-date on the bug list.

So; they definetly know what needs fixing.

They just need to do it. I dont even mind waiting another 3 weeks, so long as they fix the stuff on the bugs lists we all worked so hard on.

                NEW FLASH!

Ron2K just posted over at 2K forums the Dev team has discovered the bug that was causing pitchers to recover fatigue, it was happening when fatigue fell to 25 or lower, it would revert to 99.

So, they found it and fixed it, and it will be fixed next patch.

Ever since I downloaded the patch all of my players have pink helmets, bats, cleats, catching equipment. Not to mention the pink fountains at Comerica, pink waterfalls at Kaufman, and pink glass ate the stadiums.

Post patch the ball seems to be coming out of my pitcher's hand waayyy less smooth than before. It's a weird animation.

Also CPU hitters seem a lot more aggressive and CPU pitchers seem to throw more strikes.

I'm seeing the issues with baserunning as well.

This is more of a problem -- ever so slightly -- in the American League because without the pitcher batting, the CPU management tends to keep their pitchers in way too long. In the National League, CPU tends to pinch-hit pitchers, but not all the time.

The relievers staying in too long has been an issue since 2k8. Every season I've complained, yet they've never done anything to fix what is flat-out broken AI and Franchise mode.

No lie, I just finished a 15-inning game against the Yankees. Mariano Rivera pitched 6 1/3 inning and threw 91 pitches.

                            This is a disaster.
