Brutally bad trade for Boston... they give away the two best players AND a first for Aldridge and an expiring backup? Aldridge always plays poorly when I'm against Portland so I'd strongly veto that trade from Boston's standpoint. They don't really get better, nor do they begin rebuilding since Aldridge and KG are such a wash in this game.

Would this be better.

don't know why so many people are trying to break up OKC lol, they are goign to be running the west for the next 10 years with the roster they have + a rebounding big man

I agree. Usually Carlos Boozer comes out in free agency and with the thunders cap space they can get him. That is an insanely good and young lineup

that trade for randolph a page or 2 back though would be a great trade, lose thabo and a 1st rounder for anthony randolph... all the sudden you got westbrook, harden, durantula, green, and randolph... in 2 years durant will be high 90's westbrook will be high 80's harden low 80's green doesn't progress much but randolph will probably be mid 80's

I control the Hornets


Hornets send: Darren Collison
76ers send: Allen Iverson

Reason for trade: Mr. Paul needs a scorer. Undersized backcourt but even with Collison I would of been in the same boat. I personally think it's great I could get a scorer for so cheap.


Hornets send: James Posey, Ike Diogu, '10 second round pick
Magic send: Marcin Gortat

Reason for trade: If Omeka starts to suck it up, Gortat can hold down the block for the season. Or until Gray comes along.

Hornets send: Julian Wright, Sean Marks, '11 2nd round pick, '10 2nd round pick
Magic send: Matt Barnes, '10 2nd round pick

Reason for trade: Needed a younger replacement for Posey. Matt Barnes can play d and knock down the long ball (3-5 3pt FGs first game).


Now I'm not to worried with picks right now with a big free agency class on the horizon. It might hurt me down the line but right now I'm trying to win a ring or at least compete right now in the West.

Thoughts on this trade I was thinking of offering.

I am the Nets and earlier in the year made a pretty big deal where I got Ray Allen for alot of EC and a 1st in '11.

Ray doesn't mesh well with the young Nets as well as I had hoped he would, 17% from deep through 10 games.

After the Allen trade I've been running this lineup.

D.Harris/B.Brown
R.Allen/C.Lee
T.Williams/J.Hayes
Y.Jianlian/S.Williams
B.Lopez/J.Boone

So with that said.....


Nets Send

Ray Allen (EC)
2010 1st Round Pick (from Dallas)
Sean Williams (EC)


Suns Send

Amar'e Stoudemire (EC)
2011 2nd Round Pick


The Suns would accept and if I pull the trigger then I will run this lineup.

Looks good. Can't remember if T.Will can shoot so your probably goin to need an outside threat so Amare can work. Grabbing a number one is great for an older Ray Allen but leaves you without that outside threat. Maybe draft/sign a decent PG and trade Harris for a scorer or at least one of those picks.

I think its a great deal if you can grab a patch in FA until the right deal comes along.

Well if your comfortable with T.Will then its a great move. I couldn't get him to knock the long ball down for anything and I know shooting with Ray Ray is a headache as well, lol.

I had that problem with the Warriors too Ellis was getting eaten alive by McGrady and you cant double if the personell on the floor is tough.
