I'll probably be the only one to post in this thread like last year but oh well. Hopefully this will be another all defense draft.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I agree, stack up on defense because you're offense does not need more help.

Here's hoping the Saints finally address their OLB & DE needs. Maybe they should go after a DE 1st like Ryan Kerrigan out Purdue orJustin Houston from Georgia then OLB. Jonathan Casillas should be healthy and have an impact from the way Greg Willaims boasts about him.

Anyways, anybody have a prospect or two in mind that the Saints should go after in a heartbeat?

I have no idea who they should get but they desperately need somebody on the dline and another linebacker. I don't know if they've given up on Stanley Arnoux since he has been injured the past two years but if they don't draft a linebacker or an end in the first round I'm gonna be mad.

Stanley Arnoux and Anthony Waters seem to be always riding the IR. The Saints should just cut these guys and move on in lookin into FA. Sounds easy i suppose in writing....

Well Arnoux is supposed to be good but he's starting to turn into Cie Grant. Hopefully he gets healthy cause it would be great to have two or three young linebackers.

LOL!!! Cie Grant. Man that's bringin up nightmares. That dude along with Jonathan Sullivan just plain sucked. I just hope that now that the Saints secondary is competitive, that their Linebacking? core will be neglected. Sort of like when The Dome Patrol, namely the linebackers, were the unit that kept the Saints competitive but the secondary was neglected.

Yeah I really hope they go after the front 7. I'm glad they signed Shaun Rogers, hopefully it means they're serious about it this year. I think that Marshawn Lynch run made them finally realize that outside of a few people, the d-line and linebackers were awful. Scott Shanle needs to go asap, he's too slow to cover anybody and tight ends destroy the defense every game because his slow *** is trying to catch up to a guy who ran past him.

I agree. Shanle was burned WEEKLY. Especially in our division were TE'S are the targets for these young QB'S (Gonzalez, Winslow, and now Shockey) That's why they need a young versatile OLB and i've been eyeing this dude from Illinois, Martez Wilson. To me in my opinion, he looks like he has the frame of Demarcus Ware. He's a Beast!! and not to much talk about him either. here's a link

I just read that we only have 5 picks this year. we have the 1st round, 2nd round, two 3rd rounds and a 7th round pick. Man, we only have so much time before guys like Will Smith, J.Vilma, D.Brees and others start passing their primes. The Saints need to be smart in finding talent that will compliment the defense this year.
