Anyone Sim like I do?

Hey, when I make a Franchise and Season, I sim almost every game, and go through about 3 seasons every time I play. It seems like everyone else plays a good portion of the season. Does anyone sim like me?

I sim alot but if a matchup intrigues me then I will play. Some games I will only bat, some games I will only pitch. Switch it up and be versatile.

I sim 99% of my Franchise games. I'll occasionally play a clinching game in the Playoffs, but for the vast majority of the season I keep my hands out of the actual playing of the games.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to offend, but I'm curious as to why someone would spend 60 bucks on a game and then essentially not play it.

Because some people enjoy building a team over a large chunk of time instead of playing every game and only getting through a season or two.

I sim almost every game. I play games when a have a cold pitcher pitching or if thy are sucking it up. When Knight gets done I am gonna play every inning. I never did it before but this year I told myself I am gonna us these and play a RTTS and a franchise and play all games and go for the Platinum trophy. But yea, I usually sim most games.

i play 33% of games. i sim a lot but not everything thats not fun

I sim the first season. Then I play every tenth game. That way I can get through seasons pretty quickly and still pitch with my pitchers in the correct rotation.

As for those asking why not get a text based sim? I may play more than some of the guys who are simming, but I assume they are like me and like to occasionaly see that prospect they drafted out on the field playing.

I play about a fourth of my games and use the Sportscast Manager for the rest. I can't stand just simming, I need to have at least a little control over the team during games.

I've been digging the fast forward feature for all the pitching...it just hasn't grabbed me this year. I can play a game in roughly 20-30 minutes if I only bat. I only play like every third or fourth game, so seasons go by pretty quick but I still feel like I contributed to the final record.

i like to be the gm. Also the reason i dont get text based sims is because i like playing the occasional game and rtts.

I play maybe ten games a year, but I agree with what someone else said if you are going to sim go with OOTP. I wish there was some sort of mutant off-spring of the show and OOTP that would be great

In Franchise mode, I like simulating a lot of the game and just playing the role of the GM. After the latest patch, I did this. However, around year 4, the CPU controlled teams start releasing players left and right and will not sign them...leaving them open for the next year to be signed at minimum without them being tagges Type A or B. Can I avoid this happening by setting all teams to be controlled by the USER and then just turning Global setting to AUTO for all teams but the one I want? But if that's the case doesn't that mean I have to simulate or draft for all teams?
