i think rules is the only thing they haven't covered . i know i saw a video where he was going over the control scheme offensively though, but on defense they covered it a little . over all they pretty much discussed every thing about the game. at this point we are approaching video mode in the marketing dept. come the middle or third week in April i think we will see a mass amount of videos for the game.

Those stadiums and the lighting look absolutely fantastic. Gameplay looks fun. It does look a little funny when the QB is running around, kinda choppyComment

yea your right i just wish people stop asking for purchase of euphoria because it won't happen . and actually each component of endorphin and morpheme has a behavioural component to it , but the three together is what makes the game what it is. and thats where NM gets you.Yes they can be purchased, but they don't come with a one click installer and presto chango your game now has these components.
Still need to know how to use them, to create the behavioural AI seen in the game which doesn't come with a purchase.
EA can buy the hammer, but do they know how to swing it?Comment

Re: Backbreaker Behind the Scenes - Dev Diary 3: Down in the Trenches (IGN)
this was a good vid cuz i got to see more of the running game and some run plays that made more than 1 yard. they played out well, the blocking looked like they knew wat to do and who to block, and the running and tackling of the rb looked nice. i for one cant wait to get my hands on this gm.
it seems like we're making it to the stage where theyre bringing out more and more vids with new footage. cant wait to hear some "new" topics get discussed....injuries making final cut or not, more customization talk, playbook depth, AI on both sides of ball, depth of QB play (over/under throwing, accuracy), "franchise" details, etcComment

I would like to see sideline catches and I wonder if it's possible for the RB's to jump over the top on goal line situations.
I think when people see the game like blitz it's the use of colors on the field to chow the first down marker and after you make a tackle in blitz the camera has a zooms towards the players after the play is over. People are simply comparing the blitz art style, not gameplay.
I suspect for the 1st game, no injuries, lack of real playbook depth and a basic franchise and the QB accuracy is just like the videos, always around the wr's body, never really over or under of the sides.
I am fine, just give me what was promised, a fun, challenging, different, bone crushing experience that I can pick up and play.Comment

Re: Backbreaker Behind the Scenes - Dev Diary 3: Down in the Trenches (IGN)
I love this game more and more with every vid I see. It's not over the top in gameplay, but I see a wow moment in almost every clip.
I don't really get the blitz references either. I guess it's the camera and generic players, idk.
My other pet peeve is reading complaints about glowing players. First, the players only glow in arcade mode and the ball glows when it's thrown. This all has to do with the camera angle they use imo. It's the best option for an indicator from this view.
If you look at Madden and APF, they actually have more indicators on the field than BB. There is a blue/red ring around the players your controlling, a big red bullseye on the field where the ball is landing and button icons over every wr.Comment

Until i know/see more about the AI i don't trust anything. Looks nice though. I'm just annoyed this close to release we're STILL getting blogs only about the damn physics.HELLO BROOKYLN.

camera angle is the biggest thing that ruins this game for me. I like to be able to see whats going on and see things down field, ive never been a fan of that close to the field camera in any game because you can't see everything. And those that will try to fire back and say you can't see everything in real life, you're right, but you can also feel things around you in real life so you can feel when a DE is bearing down on you or that a CB is coming hard off the outside. You can't get that feeling in a game so you need to be able to see it or else you're blind.
Camera is the biggest turnoff for me.Comment

Re: developer diary 3
I don't have to play the game to know that. Anyone with a pair of eyes and a brain can see that this game plays nothing like blitz. Even If this game completely sucked It is not going to play like blitz. This is like saying GTA 4 with euphoria is going to play like GTA 3 when you can clearly see it doesn't when It comes to gameplay because, Its that clear to the eyes.
Get off me with that BS. If you really think this game is going to play like blitz then I don't know what to tell you. I'm not saying this game is completely sim or completely arcade but, I know what Its not....I call it like I see it. When people say this game still looks like blitz(I take that they mean plays like blitz) like they've played the damn game themselves(like your preaching to me). It tends to get on my nerves so maybe you should ask them about franchise because, I could care less about franchise mode(I don't even play it on madden).
I would love to see a Blitz/Backbreaker comparison. Please compare vids of how this game looks like it plays like blitz. There might be a comparison between the QB drop back but, I doubt it.Last edited by SouthernBrick; 03-25-2010, 05:09 PM.Originally posted by WatsonTigerOne out of 7 billion, and we still tagged your ***.Comment

The last two videos have turned this into a first day purchase. If it plays half as good as it now looks, I'll be 100% happy.Comment
