I personally have lost a handful of <NOBR style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial, Helvetica, san-serif; COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-SIZE: 100%; FONT-WEIGHT: normal" id=itxt_nobr_14_0>games</NOBR> on madden because my game winning field goal was blocked. I feel like it’s a glitch because this is the only way to kick a field goal and not have it blocked but it does not work 100% of the time so with that in mind I have to also add that I do block field goals when I need it in the 4th quarter (If I can). Furthermore, remember also that this tactic is NOT legal in Madden Challenge Tournaments.

Setup: Come out in field goal, Reset your play 3x, PINCH YOUR LINE. Feel free to comment with suggestions or thoughts.

It's a definite glitch.

Works just like most nano blitzes do on defense: confusing the interior linemen into letting a blitzer come free through the A-gap.

definitely a glitch, thanks for the video, i've actually used that strategy before, and it is definitely useful, but still not 100%. The only thing I would say that I don't necessarily agree with, is the comment you made about the nano blitzing not being a glitch.

I'm pretty sure you've encountered the people that re-blitz all of the Defensive Lineman, and than have one of the Linebackers shoot right in between the A or B gap...

If a opponent can literally force me to throw the ball with a max of 2 secs EVERY TIME..i consider that a glitch...Because you know that if you do decide to roll out every single time--the dude will make a slight adjustment using the same nano scheme.

The reason I consider it a glitch is because since my opponent can literally get one of his Linebackers to penetrate untouched through my line, EVERY SINGLE PLAY, he is taking that broken Offensive Lineman AI and using it as an exploit.

Some people say all you have to do is pinch the line..lol ok..try rolling out than...or watch one of those Defensive Ends come and smack you UNDER 2 SECS lol..

I remember that game against the Browns, but atlas they were sending heat from all over the place. With the Nano Blitz, its coming from ONE place (right up the middle).

But I hear you, the '08 blitz was definitely the worst yet, but this years Nano was definitely the younger brother of it. I can tell that you primarily play online, because you have basically seen what I have seen. I've been ranked in the top 100 -- but I'm not gonna lie, I had a free-fall in my rank just because the nano I showed in my last post got to me. I know you've probably encountered a pretty steady diet of the Nano's and have came up with a way to gameplan around it -- and I was forced to also, but with the better people you play online, the better schemes the have to work the Nano to perfections (often sending on LB instead of two and literally having the defense taking away everything short, and theres simply not enough time to work a deep route).

I think we can both agree that just like in '08, the OLine really has to be fixed because stuff like this makes madden just not fun (for me at least). It just makes it fake that I have to really run the ball the entire game, not thinking about mixing in a Play Action, or deep ball because I just simply wont have enough time because of the nano.

i read someones idea about having the ability to spotlight a lb to be more precise with the slide protection. To me this sounds promising

Yea there was audio and basicly I just explain what to do. Which is to reset your play by pushing X/Square the LT/L2 while doing this 3x also pinch your line by pushing LB/L1 and down on d-pad or LS.

I think people need to rate more of the players they are against online. Also these ratings would need to be taken into account more like 5 star people only get matched with 5 star people 1 with 1 and so on. So people who use these glitchs can play against someone who does the same. The amount of time Ea has to spend so people can't cheat doesn't help them make a good game.

yeah, but I think its a tricky situation...

Do you blame the cheaters for just abusing a EA design flaw? It works both ways...but I definitely understand what you are saying...
