I wonder if someone playing under the 3-D view can play someone online using the 2-D view without conflict. Hope so. I wouldn't want a dichotomy in visual preference to hinder the community.

I couldn't agree more with you. Just so long as they leave the core gameplay the same. There is definitely so much they could add which could make this game even more legendary then it already is. Different body types, variable/ dynamic weather- snow flurries to blizzards, drizzle to downpours, more imaginative cinema screens, field degradation with grass being uprooted or puddles of water on the field which effects gameplay, more animations such as when we plow through defenders, one hand catches, or the occasional player slipping. A camera view which after the QB releases the ball follows it's flight up close in real-time as it reaches the receiver for the more dramatic pass situations. Add all this and keep the gameplay the same and I would be in heaven. With a little imagination the sky's the limit Tecmo!

Their music team for Throwback isn't as talented as the old original Tecmo Bowl team. The new music sounds slow and lame to me.
