Keep it on topic please, there is no reason to bring up Madden or any other game if someone posts about the hands on preview.

      Only warning.

This game is going in a different direction and I hope this game is successful and challenges Madden so that Madden feels the need to compete and produce more quality

People can chose to ignore whatever they want to. A lot of folks here made up their minds that they were "all in" with this game a long time ago, and that is totally fine. Its unfortunate though, that since they've already decided to buy the game no matter what, some choose to mock or cross examine anyone who has the audacity to actually voice their concerns with some of the things they see in vids or read about in previews.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

for hopefully the last time...but I doubt it.

this is a HANDS ON article....not a preview article, not a review article...but a hands on article....

why is pointing out the correct wording important?

because it is an Hands On article from a build that is not in PREVIEW form...or REVIEW form......

It does NOT say PREVIEW, it says Hands On for a reason. Because the Writer would get in big **** if he did call it a preview.....he would be misleading the reader.

but some readers, like most who have been panicking lately, have mislead themselves.

I'm waiting for another source to get into this. I haven't trusted GI in a looong time. I don't like the news about customization, but I'm not going to take GI's word on how this game plays or any other game for that matter.

Bottom Line-that preview or people ignoring "those serious flaws" (brought up by a questionable preview) isn't going to make or break this game. If the game sucks we are going to know by release time-if it is indeed by the end of May. I'd like to hear something about a demo release or a response to the Game Informer preview.

They'd be dumb if they released a demo for it. Sounds like the right thing to do, but for this game, they're gonna need every sale they can get. People could be easily turned off if the demo sucks.

they definitely need a Pro Mode demo with Easy, Medium, and Hard Difficulty levels AND two teams with varying player skill levels.

Previews and reviews don't mean much to me, but I do need to play or see a demo before I decide to invest in a product that has not earned my loyalty yet.

I only play football games in 'coach-mode', so that further heightens the need for the AI (both playcalling and on-field) to function at a respectable level in all phases of the game; or the game has no value to me, regardless of what else it may do well.

Since everyone has a different tolerance for AI hiccups, I need to see the game for myself to see what I can and cannot put-up with. Without a demo there is no chance I'll buy this game new. With a demo, at least they would give themselves a chance to win me over.

Hopefully the AI issues are fixed by playing on pro mode or at a higher difficulty level otherwise that is a game killer.

The customization doenst matter that much but the AI def does
                          NFL- Bears

i still think that this game was originally just meant to be a tech demo, and at some point for whatever reason, they just decided to go ahead and attempt to make a real game out of it.

What they have done with the limited resources and budget they have compared to EA should be applauded even if this game does not turn out to be everything we want.

I will still be buying it.

I wonder what these guys would write about backbreaker if it was made by ea sports. Serously how many years have these so called reviewers wrote positive reviews about madden and ncaa. I have no fears about buying this game because I have spent 5 years wasting money on ea's junk. If anyone thinks that ea isn't effected by this release of back breaker just take a look at the additions to ncaa and madden this year. Competion is good for football no matter what anyone says.
