i actually liked ncaa 10, but after playing madden for awhile having the option to slow the game down. its hard to get back into so hopefully it will be . i've lived by the understanding that imo it was possible to have the madden presentation and pro tack last year so hopefully i'm right in thinking that. with the additions to teambuilder that we all asked for it should be good .

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
After i read the list, i shook my head and was honestly disgusted that we have to ask them to make the game play more realistic. Even as a presentation fanatic, why should we have to ask for a more realistic AI? I get so confused when i really think about it lol.
Aside from that, there must be more stuff they want to add in right? I'm tired of taking a 1* school and moving them to a powerhouse conference and still have the same rivals, the same stadium, the same field.
How was something like medical redshirt taken out? Formation subs?
It's so funny that when EA moved to next-gen the only thing I've seen from all of their games is just improved graphics. Although last-gen was weak in the graphics and a few physics laws, their franchise/dynasty modes definitely lasted longer than 4 years.Dear EA, I enjoyed NFL Streetz 2

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
I am almost positive that when the devs was talking about NCAA last year before release after all the madden information surfaced, they said that the referees and pro tak wouldn't be included in this year's installment ('10), but more than likely next years ('11). Does anyone else remember this??? At least that would be SOMETHING. And I do know it's been announced that there will be a new guy doing the PA in the stadium's a while ago and that they are working on sound. Ugh I wished we had more info on this year's college game.Virginia Tech Hokies NCAA 2011 Dynasty Thread :

It will be.
1. The new Athletic Director Mode, with the Stadium Builder.
2. ESPN Presentation.
3. More than 30 realistic entrances.I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

Now that one of the 13 features that could have made it in this years game is really in. Is that telling us ESPN style presention along with coaching changes will be our next blog?

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
Those things better be in. Would be the best NCAA yet by far.
My Teams:
NCAA FB-Oregon Ducks
NCAA BB-Gonzaga Bulldogs
NBA-Portland Trail Blazers
NFL-Carolina Panthers
MLB-San Francisco Giants
NHL-Los Angeles Kings
Won't change this signature until Oregon wins a national championship (started 3/10/10)

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
I realize this thread has been around for months and we now know that Locomotion is in, but some things to hopefully implement in NCAA 12 or... maybe one of the Dev's could chime in and let us know if any of these things made it in NCAA 11...
This could go under Realistic Gameday Environment... if there is such a thing... but let's say you're a mid level team and you topple a Top Ten team at home... {Texas Tech/Texas 2008 anyone?} have your fans storm the field... I'd also love for the announcers to be going off and reveling in their excitement as we pull off the upset...
Shovel Pass - This is a staple play in a lot of college offenses but has never been in NCAA to my knowledge. Please, let's get this in and soon...
In recruiting mode... they have that Early Playing Time and if you are loaded at a position or have a Sophomore or Junior starting currently it will say: Poor. Make this adjustable for us. Example... I run 5-wide a lot. A LOT! I am always recruiting WR's even if I have six or seven great ones. Injuries, etc... Say there's a 5 Star WR with A or A+ speed and B- hands and I know if I get him he will be a starter... why can't I tell him his playing early will be, not just great... but guaranteed?
Recruiting mode still... something that happened to me that really ticked me off... and needs to be corrected. I recruited a WR and Promised him lots of playing time and no red-shirt. He signs/commits to me. I placed him as my number 5 WR... the inside guy in 5-wide, closest to the QB.
He caught over 100 passes, 15 TD's and was an All American as a Freshman. Yet my Promise for plenty of playing time was considered broken. Why? Because I didn't list him 1 or 2 on the depth chart.
Next year I did the same thing, got another WR, placed him on the depth chart at 1, but moved him every game to 4 and kept my promise. He caught 99 passes and 13 TD's. Only difference was where he was on the depth chart.
That should be an easy fix, no way an All American Freshman w/ 100+ receptions and 15 TD's didn't receive plenty of playing time.
Also in recruiting mode... say you have six players visiting on a day when you are playing a huge game... you're UCLA hosting USC or you're Texas Tech hosting Texas... and you win... your recruits should be caught up in the excitement too. Same when you play on the road and a player you're recruiting is at the game as a visitor or your competitor. You win, it should mean something in your recruitment.
Good to know that Locomotion is in and Formation subs too. Please get the presentation in this years and address the issues above as well as the main ones everyone wants. This game could be really great in 2010.Dr Death

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
Apart from the other mentioned, I would love to see an in game save feature. Even if its only included within a Dynasty mode. I love to play realistic time but it does take a long time. If we had an auto save feature the game would be alot more realistic and enjoyable for me as a player.Every existing thing is born without reason, prolongs itself out of weakness, and dies by chance.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
If memory serves EA was all set to include a "storm the field" celebration in one of the last gen versions (NCAA 05? NCAA 06?), but it got nixed at the last moment due to objections from the NCAA.Comment

I've heard about the fans rushing the field question before and I believe the reason for not having it in the game has to do with the NCAA not giving their approval. The NCAA has pressured EA before, one of the reasons why the whole "program standing" feature does not exist anymore
As for the shovel pass, I have not seen the play exist in an NCAA series, HOWEVER, I have seen before in Madden, as early as Madden 97'. For some unknown reasons (probably because it was so hard to execute), the play disappeared in the future titles. With so many spread offenses incorporating variations of the shovel pass, I agree with you that this should be brought back into the game.National Champions: 96', 06', 08'Comment

Re: NCAA Football 11 Potential Features (Pasta Padre)
IIRC, it also included tearing down the goal posts as well. Which the ncaa wasn't cool with either so they just scrapped the whole thing all together.Dr Death
