Re: Agidio3's 10-11 Ps3 rosters
What is your plan of attack? I'll gladly do the Big East again but I'm worried about my ratings not being consistent with the rest of the file.
What base file are you using so we can be on the same page? I started doing the Big East already and added a few top recruits in other conferences but it's no big deal if I have to start over with a new base file.
There was a lot of stuff out of whack with 09-10 just because there is SO much stuff to edit (tendencies, rotations, etc). My biggest issue was that most freshman were rated way too highly off the bat. Most freshman, even 5-star guys, should be in the 75-77 range. Some well-rounded studs (Sullinger, Knight) should be in the 79-82 range but that's it - no more than a couple guys. Ryan Kelly from Duke was a 79 and the kid was a bench warmer this year. I would much rather start with a guy too low and have to boost him up. I think I edited Kelly down to a 69 or 70 in my last personal update.
I wouldn't mind doing the freshman for the BCS conferences so the ratings are consistent throughout.
We should start planning this out though, might as well start now so we have 7-8 months to work on it."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Hey is still working on cleaning up the 09-10 file so we have a good base to build/edit from."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Agidio3's 10-11 Ps3 rosters
Hey Guys!
I have made pretty significant progress on this file but I'd love to have some input/help! I can't wait till November to start playing this game with updated rosters.
Here's what i've done (Using Agido's rosters 09-10 as base):
1. Mainly in Power conferences (Big East, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, Pac10, ACC), I've removed players that are departing. All Seniors from Last year are gone! The early entry players who are "for sure" gone (Such as John Wall, Evan Turner) Have been removed. Some are still on their respective team, if there's a chance they may return (Such as Eric Bledsoe, etc.)
2. I've updated ratings of players who had big years (Such as Gordon Hayward).
3. I've added all incoming freshman who are rated in Rivals 150. (Tried to make it real to life. I know some people don't like Freshman being rated very high, but I tried to make it so the one and done's will leave. For example, Harrison Barnes & Brandon Knight = 87, Selby = 84/85, When you get down to player rated 150th by rivals, he's in the 72-74 range). I do not know extensive info about all of these players, so I followed Rivals info. If Rivals said they were floor general, thats what I made them. If it said, Lock down defender, that's what I made them. It got tedious and near the end, I slacked off making sure some of the lesser known players had right skin color or dominant hand (lefty/righty). I could use some help getting that spot on - but five star players should be correct. I don't have any incoming players added who were not in top 150.
I'm not looking to take over anyone's project but would be glad to help or add this file to the mix. If you guys want to re-rate everyone, fine by me. I'd just like to get a good up-to-date file to play with thru the summer months. We can always tweek it as we get closer to the real season.Comment

Re: Agidio3's 10-11 Ps3 rosters
I will have the revamped 2009-10 rosters completely done in the next week or so hopefully. I have taken agidio's base roster and will have updated every single team for every conference to star the 2010-11 rosters. I think agidio, ehh and I were going to start the new roster sometime after I got done. You won't be disappointed, hopefully, when I get done with them. All of this will how the year ended.Comment

Re: Agidio3's 10-11 Ps3 rosters
Guys, just thought I'd let you know I have 14 teams left until I am FINALLY done! This has been months of work, so I hope it's all worthwhile. There's a file on 2k share called 'test' that I put up to make sure the roster would go. Working on the last two conferences and hopefully the Southern won't give me the foul language thing like it did last time I tried to finish that conference. I will try to get those done by the weekend or sooner if possible. These will be the final 2009-10 rosters we use for 10-11. I know the rosters won't be perfect, but hopefully you won't bash anything I did because I tried to update as much as I could.Last edited by Heyuimintojsus; 05-04-2010, 11:49 PM.Comment
