    Re: Gameinformer Preview

I never thought much about this game anyway so I'm not shocked nor disappointed but boi this hurts for those wishing BB would make Madden sweat a little, I can only imagine the small chuckle over at EA (not implying they are wishing for anyone's struggles)

I just don't understand the prejudging of this game, in many cases well before this GI preview came out. No demo yet, no REVIEW yet, and yet the Nostradamus's are all over the place.
There's prejudging of every game of this not, not exclusive to this area.

I can see prejudging if I haven't liked the series. I didn't like Halo when I played, never followed a sequel. I liked COD and buy every new version day one.

BB gets treated like strange food some kid sees on his plate. "That camera angle looks funny, I don't like it." As momma used to tell me, don't knock it til you try it. You might like it.

Well put. I like the one where it's too hard to program a football game, so this game will suck.

So, people can't judge based on what they've seen up to this point? Look, I've never liked liver since my folks ate it at the table since I was a kid. That doesn't mean I will even come close to trying it in my lifetime. I know I never will.

Your playing both sides now. According to you, I'm not supposed to prejudge Madden 11 based on not liking the 5 earlier versions the game is being built off of, or the early info that's been released. I gotta wait for a demo first.

But, it's ok to prejudge an unfinished game that's the first in the series based off videos and a few websites opinions(some of which were positive and a couple negative).

              Which one is it?

Alright, I see where you are going in the first paragraph. First of all, I wasn't referring to anyone directly, that statement was to cover others with the show me don't tell attitude. Also, I didn't say wait for the demo, I said wait till August. (Plus, I didn't even quote you on that) Secondly, if the same people are going to say the same four words over and over again after each blog, it just seems like an automatic response from the same people.(Similar to the Groundhog day movie)

If you want to prejudge the other game based on the past, that's your right. If others want to judge BB on a few videos and their own research, that's their right as well.

I'm not prejudging either game at this time. I'm a bit leery of the A.I. in BB, but I haven't had my hands on it, so if I have any issues with any of the games, it's not fair for me to judge at this time.

Plus, not much I can do with finances at this time for any game.

The AI will probably have some issues, and they will find alot of them once gamers start playing just like every other game but they can sometimes get it adjusted. Madden 10 had the passing to the flats thing that they addressed with a patch for instance.

I'm not getting too hung up on any one part of this game, I just wanna try out the camera and play defense with that tackle system, sounds like it's gonna be awesome.

Sorry to hear about the finance thing tho I know you mentioned it a while back, hopefully that works out for you. I know video games have to take a back seat in situations like that.

Yeah I can't wait to play Safety in BB. I'm looking forward to playing as a MLB and laying a huuuge hit on an unsuspecting receiver going across the middle .

Nothing like popping a wr in full stride to let the opposition know you came to play.

Woops I wrote safety instead of defense in my previous post. But yeah that would be amazing to pop a wr at the beginning of a home game and really set the tone. Idk how in depth the crowds are and if they effect the players on the field, but it would be even better if the crowd erupted after a big hit and the other team lost momentum or something. Ugh there's so much potential for sports games.

Heh, that preview makes it sound god-awful. Pretty disappointing, but not exactly unexpected.

Maybe people prejudge cuz its a small video game compay with a small dev team who have never made a sports game. I think that gives people plenty of reasons to question if this game will suck or not.

The first time i knew this game was going to be trouble is when i heard the dev diaries and all the dues were brits. Its like, come on now. lol ITs like the US making a game of cricket. It just doesnt sound right.

I lost hype as soon as i seen the awful camera angles and the every throw is a throw off the back foot.

Game is going to flop hardcore, just like every other non NFL football game. Even if it was a good game, it would have still flopped. NFL logo is just to powerful.
