    Bahnzo's OS Edited Roster

    PITCHERS ONLY
PITCHERS & HITTERS rerated only. No roster moves or lineup changes.
V2 ReEdit - Re-edit with slightly edited pitch speeds (Some pitchers I felt I rated too fast on certain pitches).

This is the roster that I plan on using for my Season/Franchise. Currently it is updated with the Current NL rosters with correct players as of today (4/8) and all pitchers edited.

I'm going to work things like this: I'll have all pitchers edited with their correct pitch types and ratings as well as 3 year weighted ratings for their attributes. I'll release a file that is only the changed pitchers.

Then I'll go through and rerate the fielders, again double check that the MLB rosters are correct, set pitching rotations and batting orders and release that.

These rosters are based off the original OSv1 set. All I'm doing is making any needed roster moves and then rerating all the players.

I like the idea Bahnzo. One question though? Did you read my last post in the Roster Tools thread? Pitch FX appears to be reading 2-seamers/sinkers much better this season and as we all kinda knew already, the guys that throw em throw em much more often then what was recorded by pitch fx last year.

Right, that'll be good for the data collected for this year. But pitch ratings for this are based off what guys threw last year, so I'm being careful to make sure a sinker is truly a sinker and not a 2-seam, etc. It's why I put the PitchFX data in the tool to begin with.

Are these using the Knights rosters as a foundation, or some other roster?

I hope you got Knight and Co.'s permissions first. Some dude did the same thing last year without asking and Knight was understandably not happy.

Especially when they basically put out an appetizer version to give people their fix for when the one with the edits and pitch edits comes out.

That's the thing, I don't want to wait. The V1 rosters are good enough for me, names-wise, so I'm just rerating them so I can get started on my Season. I'll be done with the AL pitching tonight (having both leagues pitchers rerated then), and then I'll goto work on the batters tomorrow. Batting should be quicker I hope, so that might just take a day only, two max...so I'll be done with these by the weekend for sure.

Most likely just on this thread. The rosters that Knight and Co are doing I'm sure will be a much more polished set with corrected motions, stances, faces, etc. I'm mostly interested in correct names, correct lineups, and correct attributes.
