how to manually injure players?

I've tried everything to put a player on the DL, but can't figure it out. I set injuries to manual, but thats not working. can anyone help me out?

Set injuries to manual, then go to the disabled list screen, there you can set any injury to any player you prefer....

you have to go to global settings and set injuries to manual i think

Once you set your injuries to manual under global options, then you have to go to the disabled list. Once there hit R1 or L1 and it will bring you to injury management screen with all the players on your roster. Pick a player and hit X, then pick whatever injury you want him to have and the duration. I just did this to replicate all the injuries so far in the real MLB season. Suprisingly the game had pretty much all of the different types of injuries, so I was able to give all the injured players the actual injuries they have IRL.

If i started my season already with injuries off, why wont it let me switch it to manual in global settings, can i not do this since i have started already? I also have all 30 teams controlled

It's on the PS3.
GLOBAL options....set injuries to MANUAL....
Then go to the DISABLED LIST(not the regular edit screen)
You should at least be able to see the first team once you hit that screen.
It might be the L2 and R2 buttons to scroll through teams.

I am having the same issue here. I've tried restarting the franchise and the whole nine. Global settings for injuries is set to manual. Injuries are on. Everything is good. Everything I go to the Disabled List in my franchise I get nothing. When I hit X all i hear is the noise. Can't hit L1 or R1. L2 and R2 change teams. Thats it. Can't move players to the DL.

Playing on the PS3 and I have this exact same issue. I did start with injuries set to auto and then switched over to manual. I don't even know what to ask at this point since someone else above me started a new franchise and still had the issue. I'm frustrated though! I need to injure a few guys that should be injured! I have a 30 team control franchise and just my profile set to Twins, no profile for other teams.
