Homerun/Umpire Video Review???? Anyone Yet?
After seeing one at Target Field today during the Sox/Twins game I figured I'd ask. I figured I would have seen some people's replays of of an Umpire Video Review on a questionable homerun call, but I haven't yet. Does anyone have any videos of their own yet besides the one released by SCEA? Is it possible to make a video of a booth review anyway? Just curious as I haven't seen any in my games yet. Thanks. I dont have a video of my own but I've played/watched about 50 games so far and only seen one umpire review in a cpu VS. cpu game. I'd hate to see it happen every other game and happy that it seems to be rare. The Signature of New YorkComment

I've seen it a few times during my season...actually just had it happen in the last game I played.

Re: Homerun/Umpire Video Review???? Anyone Yet?
The only review I have had so far got stuck in a weird loop and the scene of the umpires gathering and talking it over and coming out of the dugout after watching the replay happened 3 times in a row.
They called it a home run (which was the correct call) but after it was signaled HR the game went to the cut scene and did the same thing all over again. I thought I was going to have to turn the game off, which would have sucked because the HR put me ahead by 1 in the bottom of the 8th.
Anyway, I just kept hitting buttons until it finally went back to the game.Comment

i saw it once over the last 30 or so games, which is just fine with me...i don't want to be seeing it regularly because it's rare in real life.
i'm already sick of the fan(s) reaching over the railing animation, and the ones where they fall...it happens on every single foul ball, which is a lot and not something you see so regularly in real life.Comment

I've had it twice also. Both were declared HR's in my favor!Comment

I've had it once. Turned out foul, which was good for me.

had the same thing happen as bleachercreature.....they rule it a hr then go back and check 2 more times....
u'd think that a fan would get a foulball when reaching over once in awhile, but it never happens....they either lean over and miss or fall to the playing field......Comment

Re: Homerun/Umpire Video Review???? Anyone Yet?
im yet to get the review. another thing is, ive played a TON of games and i havent seen a manager argue a call once. ive seen a player get pissed off after being called out one time and get ejected but i feel like it should happen just a bit more. but i coulda sworn i read that managers will argue calls and could be tossed. but im yet to see it happen, and there have been some very questionable calls in some of the games ive played. anyone got any info on that?Proud Member of the Right Field Bleacher Crew, Oakland California!

ive had two, one in an online game which was clearly fair and reviewed for no reason and held as a homerun, and the second happened in a user vs user game were the ball was foul by a good margin and ruled a home run then reviewed and still ruled a homerun, it wasnt even close.Comment
