What is the best team to start a rebuilding franchise with? I'm a nravos fan but that's not really rebuilding, I was thinking oakland but I'm not sure. Definitly not the nats as I'd have to play the braves too much? I need good pitching, and I like to play small ball. So speed is a pllus to and a good farm system.

If you want a team that has most of the young pieces there already then Pittsburgh. But if you want a team that is in shambles, try the Padres, Nationals and older teams. The Yanks are actually fun if you sim for a few years and let Jeter, Posada, Rivera, Pettite, Winn and the others retire.EPL - Arsenal

Yeah the pirates is a good one to start with. However I also think the Royals would be pretty fun or even the Indians who have some good young bats to go along with Sizemore.Comment

I'd go with the Astros. That team is a mess right now. The roster is full of washed up vets who need to be unloaded and replaced with much younger talent.Comment

Padres, Orioles, or Pirates.
I'd use the Nats with Knights rosters however just to build a team around Strasburg.
Or the friars. Trade A-Gon, Move Blanks to 1B and build up from there.Comment

Decimate any team's roster. Get to the most putrid level you can stomach, through trades, out-right release, whatever floats your boat.
